21.01.2022 Although Kevin Chamberlain Photography never closes we do relocate from time to time. Not a bad view from today's office!

17.01.2022 Our usual photography is commercial/corporate so we are enjoying the chance to be beachside on holidays and attempting some seascape dusk shots. Getting some good shots but we haven't got "lucky" with the perfect sky....yet...but having fun! These are mostly from The Rock at Currumbin and one from Rainbow Bay. The surf Club there is great with spectacular views. This is winter Gold Coast.

11.01.2022 The last night of our road trip home from sunny Burleigh Heads to freezing Sydney was spent at the beautiful riverside town of North Haven. With few "city" lights around the place we couldn't resist the chance to do some star gazing after a beautiful sunset. Back to work with a vengeance now but having the time to do some landscape photography over the last couple of weeks was a joy and really recharged the batteries!

10.01.2022 Sadly, we are traveling home from our Gold Coast holiday but taking it easy with a stay at Yamba tonight. We couldn't resist the opportunity to play with our 19mm tilt shift lens taking some shots of the lighthouse at dusk. Nearly froze solid in the process but a delicious meal at the local, family-run Sandbar restaurant was just the antidote for us - excellent seafood, great service, option for byo and relaxed vibe. Photography, food & wine - three of life's greatest pleasures!!!

05.01.2022 Enjoying the night sky at Fingal Head while away on holiday. Not the perfect Milky Way shot - the moon and city lights are too bright. Nevertheless, it was fun for us to research and execute! I miss the stars that city living makes impossible to see.
