24.01.2022 Let us help you along the important path to healing, by making the past just that the past. Heather Ross is a Solicitor with depths of experience in historic institutional child sexual abuse. Her experience and empathy ensure that proper compensation is achieved in all claims; it is important to us that clients receive the best outcome possible. The sexual abuse National Redress Scheme is taking years to deliver compensation for victims who've already waited decades. It... is a LIMITED scheme with caps on the redress payments and therefore is not proper compensation for the damage done. If a victim has been paid redress under the Scheme, they are effectively prevented from pursuing common law compensations. Heather can assess a client’s situation and advise them on the avenue for maximising their compensation entitlements and will do so on a NO WIN, NO FEE basis. Call Heather now on 02 6933 6900.

16.01.2022 The northern side of Gurwood St, c1950 and 2017. The Embassy Cafe on the left was owned by John (Jack) Psaltis who bought the cafe from the Day family in March,...1946. John and his wife ran the business until it closed in July,1954. Next door is Gurwood Chambers, built in 1912. The first floor was used by the NSW Pastures Protection Board. The ground floor by Fulham Gardens, prior to them moving across the road next to the Capitol Theatre. Younghusband Ltd bought the building in July,1950 and remodelled it for their offices. It is now home to Commins Hendriks Solicitors. (Sharing a CSU Regional Archives photo) See more
