24.01.2022 Ive had lots of people enquiring about dyno tuning. Yes i am still dyno tuning but its no longer at Advan peformance. Dyno tuning will be saturdays only and pricing stays the same $880 for N/A and bolt on l67 cars and $990 for F/I cars. Due to the shop being busy customers will need to book in with minimum 2 weeks notice.



22.01.2022 So heres my own project im working on that is almost complete. Its a dart ls cast iron block 427ci. Callies dragon slayer crank Has also had torrington bearing mod done. Oliver rods... Forged JE LS pistons Cam motion LLR solid roller cam 242/250 115lsa 730 lift Crower roller rockers Higgins ls7 heads Plazmaman ls7 twin injector intake. Killaboost manifolds Gt55 106mm turbo and 1.24 ar t6 rear housing. This is going in my vx ss drag car which has just had a 6 point cage and chute mount done. See more

20.01.2022 If anyone has a bulk of VN-VR memcals can be V6 OR V8 like the one pictured please pm me as i need more stock. Also this will mean customers need to either supply one or their orginal for reprogramming till i can find more memcals. Unfortunately they are getting very hard to come by these days.

20.01.2022 Had a really nice vc commodore 355 in for a tune. The engine was new so run in on the dyno and oil change done. Mods 355ci,ported heads,230/240 cam come racing ttb,42 lb injectors. Tce 3200 stall t700. Due to still running it in we didnt push too hard but made a safe 227rwkw and with safe afrs.... With more klms and new exhaust system and higher flowing fuel pump (currently stock vn v8) it will make alot more power. The cars drives very well and has a nice idle check out the video. See more



20.01.2022 This is my daily driver its a vx s pack l67. I decided to stick it on the dyno for a bit of fun. I tuned the delco pcm on the street and its actually seen no dyno time till now. The car has 330,000klms and a worn cam lobe and slipping old FIT pulley seeing 9.5psi max. It has extractors and twin 2.5" exhaust. It has the mace cai added recently.... With a new cam/lifters and more boost the power should jump up a bit. See more

19.01.2022 Another memcal modified and reprogrammed. This one being from a vp the chip is cut out and a new st chip is reprogrammed with a custom tune and is soldered in. This one is ready to post.

19.01.2022 Vr clubsport on hi comps dyno today. 304ci ,10.5 comp crane 280 solid cam. Yellaterra alloy heads. Starr/jhp intake with 90mm tb. 42lb injectors.... T5 manual 3.08 gears -soon to be changed Made 204rwkw! See more



18.01.2022 Had a nice vr ss on the dyno today. Mod list 355 scat crank scat rods Srp flattop pistons 10.5 compression Ported heads roller rockers ... Camtech 235/245 hydraulic flat tappet. Torque power manifold Holley throttle body 42lb injectors MSD 6al msd hvc coil Turbo 700 full manual 3500 rpm stall. Unfortunatley the big flat tappet cams although they sound great just dont perform well and let the combo down. It made 212rwkw or 285rwhp. A different cam will see it making more power but for now the owner can get in and drive and enjoy the car after a long build. All tuned with the delco ecu and it sounds great! 17.01.2022 Recent project done for a customer. Its a VN/VP 808 ecu with pcmhacking usb board conversion. The customer supplied the 808 ecu and board. This allows proper data logging and abilty to read codes.

17.01.2022 Had this awesome looking VS GTSR replica in for a dyno tune. 355ci Scat 355 crank, blower pistons, gapped rings, ported heads, double valve springs, oversized stainless valves, crane rollers, cam tech custom ground cam 238/245@50 112 lsa, port matched manifold,deka 85lb injectors, pacemakers, 3 inch exhaust, t5 box, 3:45 ratio diff . Vortech V1 t trim supercharger.... At 1st had a tps issue which was rectified. We ended up with 310rwkw or 415 rwhp on 8.5 psi which would taper of to 7psi due to belt slip. With a new belt and custom intake for the supercharger it would gain more power again. The car drives really well and all tuned on the factory vs manual delco ecu. Last dyno for the year and will get back into it in 2021! See more

16.01.2022 Here's a FGX XR8 supercharged v8 i tuned at ADVAN PERFORMANCE only mods were intake and rear muffler delete. Still std headers,exhaust and sc pulley. Before tune was 309rwkw.

16.01.2022 Yes we are still open for business. We are still dyno tuning and precautions for covid-19 are being taken. Gloves are being used, sanitizer and maintaining social distance of 1.5m. There is some confusion about bringing in cars for work to be done. You can travel to get work done as its an essential business still and the more support the better.... We have and are still booking in work wether It be dyno tuning or cam upgrades or any mechanical work that you need done. Mail order tuning is also still going ahead and i am getting orders out the door. The only thing we wont be doing is road tuning or call outs because of the covid-19 restrictions that are currently in place. 16.01.2022 Got the L67 project back on the dyno. It has a 3.2" mace engineering pulley. Mace CAI Extractors, hi flow cats,twin 2.5" exhaust. A few tweaks to the tune and ended up... With 171rwkw and also logged boost during the run. Next up will be a cam upgrade,bigger injectors and e85. See more

14.01.2022 Vr commodore v6 on the dyno today. This was a very cool setup. The engine is sbe with cam and valvetrain upgraded. 207/207 cam 113lsa. Tonyz garage turbo kit. Turbo is a china gt35/40. 2 bar map sensor 60lb injectors, walbro 255. Built 4l60e,2500 stall converter. We ended up with 218rwkw or 292 rwhp on 10.5 psi on 98 tuned with the delco ecu. Due to the wastgate spring that it had we couldnt dial anymore boost in. The car also drives very well and performs great.

13.01.2022 Had a nice vu ute on the dyno over a couple days. Brand new engine run in, oil service then dyno tune + speedo calibration. Engine specs Ls1 385ci 10.98:1 Hydraulic roller 231/242 0.617/0.592 112LSA... 241 cnc ported heads Fast LSXR 102 manifold Ls3 injectors 1 7/8 primary headers Trans t350 with 3500+ hi stall 3.9 gear. Result 304rwkw and huge torque.

12.01.2022 Had this cool VS 304 sleeper back for a tune after a cam and converter upgrade. Cam is the crane 284. The engine had been freshened up with Flat top pistons and due to the higher comp we got a good result of 189.9 rwkw. We also did some tuning on the street and some trans adjustments to liven the 4l60e up a bit.

10.01.2022 Another barra tuned today. This one had 60lb injectors fitted then tuned on the street and now drives great and has alot more go. Boost was set at 15 psi which is nice and safe for a BA xr6. To give an idea they usually make 300-330 rwkw depending on mods at 15psi on the dyno.

07.01.2022 Had a returning customer with this awesome vl 355 with a 671. It used to have a yella terra whipple 2400 and now has 671,modified,cut down stock manifold. It also has meth injection kit to keep blower air temps down and the Delco 808 running the show. Its running low boost 6 psi up to 8psi in the very top end. We did have an issue with not getting 100% throttle but got a good result making 306rwkw on pump 98. Turn up the volume this thing sounds unreal at full noise.

06.01.2022 Had this awesome LJ torana on the dyno today. 355ci with a baby 214@50 camtech cam,std intake and 24lb injectors. T5 manual trans. Ended up with 193rwkw and great driveabilty. Sounds good too!

06.01.2022 Vn v6 burnout car in for a tune it had a 4.2L stroker, mild camtech cam,42lb injectors on e85. Made 167rwkw with plenty of torque. Not bad for an N/A v6. Perfect for burnouts.

05.01.2022 Got my VX S PACK L67 on the dyno this evening to finalise tuning after tuning on the street. Since the last dyno session ive fitted a mace engineering stage 2 cam,specs are 213 / 226@50 also fitted a 3" pulley and and made the switch to e85 and 60lb injectors- already had a walbro 460 intank pump. Still running stock maf. Supercharger and throttle body still stock and will be the next thing to be modified. Result was 205.4 rwkw on 10-11 psi.... More mods to come! See more

04.01.2022 Vk commodore in for diagnosis and tune. Mods a bit unkown 304ci crane 286 cam. Std intake. The car had issues leaning out which partly was std injectors which were upgraded to the bosch 968 42lb injectors which are a great injector. The other issue was the fuel pump and filter blocked up and it pretty much killed the pump.... A new hi flow bosch fuel pump fitted and filter. Dyno result 192rwkw. Upon test drive the car had good manners and could even cruise in 5th gear (T5) at 60kph no problem. Turn the volume up it sounds great! See more

04.01.2022 This has been something ive been meaning to do for a while now. Ive been asked alot about tuning/or bench flashing vy flash pcms ( no memcal) v6 ecotec. I have made a bench setup and tested a vy pcm and also a customers pcm for vats off. All testing has worked flawlessly. Few pics of the setup. Bench setup we can turn vats ( anti theft off) change rpm limit,fans and many other parameters. We can also tune via road tuning or dyno. No tunes will be available (mail order) till ive done alot of testing. Pm with any enquiries.

04.01.2022 This neat toyota 4wd had a VS S3-VT 304 conversion done and 210@50 cam,ls1 injectors and 70mm throttle body with a delco 808 running the show. This one was tuned on the road and some steep hills as it will also go offroad . End result is something that idles great and has plenty of go.

03.01.2022 So today decided to change the worn out old FIT pulley on the l67. It was also quite tough to remove unlike the stock pressed on pulley. This saw 9.5 psi max on the dyno. It was also fairly worn and slipping... Also squeaking at idle which was quite annoying. I ordered a new hub and the 3.2" pulley And a smaller 3.0" pulley from mace engineering for when i change the cam and lifters at a later date. Due to mechanical noise from the lifters The knock sensors were seeing false knock during the run pulling down to 2 deg at wot and only seeing 150rwkw. That has now been fixed. This is now also currently running a 30%+ e85 mix so should now see some good numbers on the dyno and i should note this is with custom tuning the delco ecu to suit the mods. Ive incl some pics of the pulley hub install and went with a 6pk1725 instead of the 6pk1735 which i feel doesnt have enough tension. More to come shortly. See more
