22.01.2022 This week we will not be posting our usual inspirational coffee quote, instead we will attempt to solve one of the worlds great debates. Yep we are going for one of the bigger conflicts to face the people - We ask you this, is there a place for pineapple on pizza? From our perspective, the jury is still out as pizza does not form part of our delicious menu (we get ours from George's Gourmet Pizzeria) but these questions can’t remain unanswered for ever. What say you, pi...neapple yes or pineapple no? Now we also think that the humble pineapple, well....... usually gets the rough end of the pineapple in the cool fruit department and whilst it may or may not belong on pizza, it definitely has a place on our new Toastie, Blue Hawaii. Avocado, chicken schnitzel, bacon, cheese and of course pineapple covered in Chilli mayo and toasted to perfection. So this week presents you with two items to add to your must do list, 1 - work out if pineapple has a rightful place on the tasty frisbee and 2 - get into Common Grounds Cafe and smash a Blue Hawaii.

18.01.2022 What have we been counting the sleeps till? We know you want to know, well read on.... So today marks two years since we kicked open the doors to the Common Grounds Cafe and between drought, fire, flood and a little thing called COVID-19, we have still been on deck every morning from 6am doing our best. But we wouldn’t have lasted two years if it were not for our wonderful customers who support our little family business. We thank you all for your loyalty, your acceptance... and on the odd occasion your patience. Like all good birthdays, there are presents and cake, so to mark our second trip around the sun, we are giving everyone a free slice of cake with your purchase today. So come down, grab a coffee and pick up a slice of birthday cake and help us celebrate our 2nd birthday.

18.01.2022 We are pleased to be helping the good people at Hawkesbury Community Outreach Services spread some love. It’s rather simple, if you need a bit of warmth and a good coffee and may find yourself on hard times come in and grab one courtesy of HCOS. If you don’t need it, leave it for those that do and if you can afford it buy a pay it forward for others who may be a bit more needy.

14.01.2022 So we are not sure whether an argument between two vegetarians is still called a "beef or if vegetarians are allowed to eat animal crackers, but we do know that the latest addition to the Common Grounds menu should have carnivores and herbivores alike lining up out the door (obviously 1.5m apart). Let us introduce to you our new ULTIMATE VEGE BURGER. A succulent hand made vege patty, topped with Beetroot Relish, tomato, avocado, onion, lettuce and of course your choice of sauces (we like the burger sauce best). 14.01.2022 If you are not able to get to Common Grounds Cafe for your coffee but really need some of our great flavoured roast, we are now supplying kilo bags ofour premium coffee blend. We have 1kg sealed bags of Mountain and Earth coffee, the same coffee we use in store for only $30.00 (Usually $40.00) and we will even deliver them to your door at no extra charge. That's a saving of $10.00 per kilo and we will do all the work to get it to you.

14.01.2022 Looking for something to warm your heart this cold Monday, stop into the Common Grounds Cafe and enjoy our home made chicken and corn soup with crusty sourdough bread. Also available is our Pea and Ham soup made to the very same recipe that grandma taught us. They will definitely warm you up and send your taste buds into overdrive.

12.01.2022 Mothers Day orders can still be taken for those still wishing to get mum a super awesome present that will render your third grade offering of a paddle pop stick coaster or the clay vase effort whipped up in fifth grade as distant memories. We have extended the cut off time until Thursday afternoon to help out those that may be lagging behind. For those who miss tomorrows deadline, we are sorry but you're on your own if things go south.

03.01.2022 This week saw one of our favourite customers Greer Johnson celebrate her 17th trip around the sun. Instead of cake, Greer celebrated her birthday with cannoli made fresh from Common Grounds Cafe. Not only is Greer blessed with youth, brains and beauty, but she obviously has been gifted with really exceptional taste. Happy birthday Greer and here’s to many more.
