11.01.2022 Our new space is coming along but loads of curve balls and delays! It’s all part of the process but it’s been an emotional and testing 12months! I feel lucky because after all the ‘things’ - I’m still excited and passionate! That’s been my biggest realization during all this covid BS.... I am doing something I truly love and believe in and I don’t take that for granted. I know loads of people who aren’t lucky enough to love their job. However in saying all of this... this new... year has left me feeling a little flat. I can only put it down to all the uncertainty that is rolling around these days. It makes me anxious. I’m only putting this all out there because I’ve struggled to ‘jump back on socials’ this year and do the ‘happy new year’ thing! I’m fine... I’ve been flat before and it just takes a little time but made me think what everyone else is feeling at the beginning of this new year? I also just wanted to start the year off by being ‘real’ and not fake - saying I’m all refreshed and energized! Because I’m not. Haha! But I’m in no way defeated! And that’s because of my incredible staff, community, family, friends and tribe! Cheers to connecting on socials in a ‘real’ way, ‘honest’ and true way! I hope this year you get to know me more, my values and why Common Circus is so important to me, what it means to me and why it will always grow with me!
