11.01.2022 Long post warning.. My grandfather brought a heap of amazing 2ft wide solid Queensland maple down from far North Queensland in the early 1950’s. My Aunty and uncle had been keeping it safe under their house for about 30 years. I crawled under with the spiders and dragged it out about a year ago. I couldn’t find worth project for it until a few months ago I decided to build myself a guitar out of a little bit of it. Finally after much head scratching and even more sanding it is complete. I feel Pa would feel it a worthy project it being a furniture crafter and musician himself. It. Sounds. Dope. Thanks to @h_e_r_a_d for the custom anodized aluminum tailpiece and pickguard.
