18.01.2022 Starting today 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and for the next two years, the UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign, a multi-year effort aimed at preventing and eliminating violence against women and girls, will focus on the issue of rape as a specific form of harm committed against women and girls in times of peace or war.

15.01.2022 Meet Ravi and Justin, two of our wonderful volunteers, preparing boxes for delivery on Sunday. We collected 680kg of vegetables, fruit and bread from Coles to help 62 families in need with food parcels. What a great effort guys!

12.01.2022 Communify and SecondBite have joined forces with Nando's in a charity initiative, called NanDonation that was officially launched in July last year. The NanDonation initiative ensures food from Nando's, otherwise headed for landfill, is redistributed to charities across Australia. Here is Julia from @NandosBurandaQLd with Communify's Tim collecting our fortnightly donation of chicken that will be made into meals for those in need.

11.01.2022 Thanks Queensland Police Service for running the IT Scam Awareness workshop at the Exchange Kelvin Grove today. Sadly several of the women who attended the workshop have already been victims of scams since coming to Brisbane.
