They want to improve their... services and develop new resources for parents and caregivers. The apps they are particularly interested in are the apps your child(ren) plays for fun (not at school, and not social media apps such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram etc.). The Food Bank offers non-perishable food items and toiletries to members of our communit...y who may be experiencing difficulties. We are seeking donations of food and toiletries, particularly in the lead-up to Christmas. If this is something that you are able to help with, we would welcome your very kind donations.

11.01.2022 6B's video providing simple messaging about the importance of the first 1000 days of life, starting from the womb. This is a project we've been working on with ...Mission Australia's Cairns South Communities for Children. The 6B's project stemmed from evidence/data provided via the Cairns South State of the Children report 2016 (which we worked on with Dr Scott Davis). Hon Stanley Jones is the project champion and a small working group has formed to find ways to raise awareness of this important issue. Well done to CfC and 6B's volunteer working group members. As the project's financial resources are limited Working Vision's digital motion specialist, Miranda, has pulled this simple promotional video together using 6B's postcards which have been developed to distribute in the Cairns South community. 08.01.2022 Invitation to Join a CWC Mission Australia, as the backbone for the Cairns South Coalition (CSC), would like to invite you to be part of the CSC’s Collaborative Working Clusters (CWC’s). These CWC’s will form the heart of the Coalition. ... They are where we will work together, with the Cairns South community to identify gaps and co-design pathways forward. The first gathering of the CWC’s will be on Thursday 19 November 2020 from 10am to 2.30pm with lunch provided. We will meet at the PCYC 20 Walker Road, Edmonton. Please RSVP to [email protected] by Monday 9th November 2020 for COVID and catering purposes. Please also nominate the CWC you wish to be involved with. On that day, guided by the CSC’s collective impact and constellation models, from our Common Agenda we will plan how we will work together through the established governance structures.
