19.01.2022 This Australia Day, we asked for your generosity to help those affected by the devastating bushfires around our country. We've counted every cent of profit from every ticket, bean bag lounge hire, sausage sizzle, soft drink, ice cream, popcorn, drink, and everything else we sold on Australia Day at all venues, and it has totalled a massive $8621.61! This amount will be donated to help the Aussies who need it most via the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund and WIRES (wildlife rescue). 16.01.2022 Join us on Saturday 28th March at Burswood for a very special event beginning with a screening of PINK FLOYD: THE WALL followed by a LIVE PERFORMANCE of the 1973 classic album THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON by local supergroup US AND THEM. THE FILM: The Wall is a 1982 British live-action/animated musical drama film directed by Alan Parker with animated segments by political cartoonist Gerald Scarfe and is based on the 1979 Pink Floyd album of the same name. THE PERFORMANCE: Us and... Them were formed from a mutual passion of Pink Floyd by local music legend Steve Hensby a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. With some members of his touring band The Steve Hensby Band along with Matt Geary (Team Jedi/Ghost Hotel) and Josh Dyson (Matters of Fiction/Neon/ producer). During their live performance Malcolm Clarks spectacular visuals inspired by the album will be projected onto the big screen. E-ticket holders will be contacted by email, and gift vouchers have no expiry so will be fine for next season. If you have a booking to a screening affected by the above, or you simply wish to change your mind about attending, you can firstly either follow the instructions on your e-ticket under Change of Plans? or on our website under Tickets/Events Change My Booking. You can either: Move your booking to another screening OR Move your booking to the last listed session under the Burswood venue list of screenings which is 25 December. There are no films scheduled for this day but by moving your booking to this day, you can hold your booking and select another session to attend when our 2021 season launches. Your booking will be fully protected and we will send out reminders when our 2021 Season is due to advise you to select a screening. I have tickets to A NIGHT WITH PINK FLOYD What about those? A separate advisory is being sent regarding this event but it has definitely been postponed given our ticket sales exceed our 250 venue limit. 06.01.2022 MAURITIUS TRIP RAFFLE RESULT DELAYED Due to the travel restrictions resulting from COVID-19 the raffle prize draw has been delayed until FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER 2020. State & Federal Government travel restrictions given our closed borders, and other factors relating to the prize (including conditions placed upon use of the prize by its donors), will hopefully be clarified by that time to enable the prize winner to begin to make appropriate plans.... In the event that these restrictions and conditions prevent use of the prize we are also looking at equal-value alternatives. The Office of Racing, Gaming & Liquor current and future approvals are part of this process. As you can appreciate these are completely unexpected circumstances. We apologise for the inconvenience.
