23.01.2022 This week, our Women's Social Group - The Women who Wander, ventured across to the Camp Hill Antique Centre & TART Cafe for a wonderful day of coffee, shopping, feasting, shopping, ice cream, did we mention shopping? On arrival, we enjoyed morning tea with our choice of home made cakes and tarts, we wandered the absolutely quirky environment of what was once the old Planet Theatre, and returned to our tables for a sumptuous lunch followed by ice cream. Women who Wander is a great opportunity for women who would love to get out and about with other like-minded females who enjoy fine food and fine things. Next trip we are off to Harbour Town for some Christmas Shopping and lunch. Give our Contact Centre a call on 1300 153 636 to book your place on the bus.

22.01.2022 Our TransitCare clients have a wonderful time out and about on a variety of trips and events. Last week on one of our Community Flyer Adventures we traveled to Bribie Island to visit the Butterfly House and enjoyed lunch at the iconic Sandstone Point Hotel. For further information on our trips and activities, give our Contact Centre team a call on 1300 153 636 or visit Transitcare.com.au

11.01.2022 This week is Dementia Action Week 2020 a week when we focus on what we can do to best support people living with dementia to live active and rich lives for many years after diagnosis. Many continue to make significant contributions to our community as they engage, make their own choices and live rich and active lives. Dementia affects close to half a million Australians and this number is set to double in the next 25 years. Dementia Action Week 2020 was developed in consu...ltation with Dementia Advocates, who have a lived experience of dementia. The stories and voices that feature across Dementia Action Week are real. As part of Dementia Action Week, Dementia Australia is releasing a new tip each day on how everyone can help support people living with dementia so that they can live their best lives. Visit their website to learn more. https://discrimination.dementia.org.au/action-week/
