Between work and online uni classes I’ve been busy in isolation, but when I get a day off like today I spend my free time working on puzzles, cooking healthy snacks, doing work outs and going for runs with my sister...s. 19.01.2022 Sorry for the long post, but with so much going on we feel it is really important to keep you up to date!! With the ongoing and rapidly changing situation we are currently facing with the COVID-19 pandemic you will see some changes in store. One of the most important factors in trying to contain the spread of the virus is maintain a safe distance from others of at least 1.5m. We are strictly enforcing this in store and ask that you please adhere to the directions given ...by our team. We have marked out areas highlighting spacing requirements, and customers are asked to please not wait in store, we are happy to take your number and send you an SMS when your script is ready. As the situation changes daily you may find that we make further changes & move to further reducing customer access in store, however rest assured we will be there to provide you with your medication needs in whatever form in may take! With further advice from the Government yesterday strongly recommending that those over the age of 70 & customers with chronic health conditions remain at home as much as possible, we are encouraging you to look at the other options we have available. We can take phone orders, offer our delivery service and have the MedAdvisor app in order to support you. We can talk you through downloading the MedAdvisor app over the phone, or if you are dropping in a script over the next couple of days we can assist you further. So many of our wonderful customers are already phoning in their prescriptions and we are currently putting on more staff just so that we can get to your queries and get your orders out you’re not only helping to #slowthespread but are also ensuring that our wonderful team can continue to work, so thank you so much! Also just to let you know, we will still be offering flu shots this year, however bookings will be required. Watch this space for more information over the coming days. With the current issues sourcing stock please be aware that a limit of 2 per person applies so that as many customers as possible can purchase some. Although this is not the brand that we normally stock, this brand is made and sourced from a local company based in Melbourne, and we have ensured that it contains the required alcohol content to be effective. We realise that these are priced ...slightly higher than our normal brands , however please be assured that we are pricing this at the best price possible, and that cost of ingredients & supply for everyone across many brands and products has recently increased. We will continue to try to secure supply from our normal supplier, however we currently are unsure when this will be. 14.01.2022 Last year Community Pharmacy launched our We Care For Program, a program partnering with local community groups in order to increase their exposure in the community and assist in raising much needed funds. During these changing times we are living in, the We Care For program has been placed on hold, however there are a significant number of people within our local community who are now facing some very unexpected challenges. Job losses, changes in living circumstances, parent...s forced to reduce their working hours in order to facilitate home learning, and many more. With all of this in mind we would like to introduce our new ‘Pay it Forward’ program for those in need. The Pay It Forward program offers customers that are able to, a chance to donate funds to those in need. Community Pharmacy will then pay it forward to these customers. Each amount will be represented in a heart on our Pay It Forward contribution board. If a customer is in need, they can use a heart as cash towards payment of their Pharmacy essentials. Our customers privacy and dignity is extremely important to us, so we understand that not everyone will feel comfortable in doing this, please feel free to speak to a staff member confidentially if you need a helping hand. Alternatively, if you know of someone doing it tough please let us know so we can try to help. We are also offering ‘We Care For You’ packs, small hampers to get you or your loved ones through home isolation. There are a range of packs in store; everything from an at home nail salon to an immune boosting pack, or you may choose to custom make your own, pay for it and let us deliver it to a friend on your behalf. For those able to contribute to the Pay It Forward program, please consider doing so, every little bit counts & there is no wrong or right amount. We are all in this together.

13.01.2022 If you have been in lately you will have seen our most recent changes put in place to continue to support social distancing in store. We have temporarily changed the way you visit our store in order to limit how many people can come in to further reduce the risk of both staff and customers contracting COVID-19. We have also reduced access to the store to just the Centre Rd entrance in order to limit the amount of walk through foot traffic, and our homewares area is also clos...ed. When you arrive at the store you will see 3 different areas set up; 1. Express Prescription this is for if you have just prescriptions and don’t need anything else. 2. Prescriptions and other essentials if you have a prescription but you also need other items or you don’t have a prescription but need some Pharmacy items, then this is the place for you! Our staff will grab what you need and either pop it aside if you have a prescription or take it for processing at our third area. 3. Collect & pay this where you will pay for your goods & collect your prescriptions. Other measures we have in place include; clearly marked areas on the floor to wait until being served, encouraging tap and go as our preferred payment method, not signing for prescriptions, perspex guards to reduce person to person contact, asking our customers to please refrain from leaning on or placing bags on counters, asking you to wait outside or in your car & sending texts as soon as it’s ready. We know that this is a stressful time for all, and all these changes can be overwhelming, but the more all of us can do to slow this virus down the quicker we can get back to normal. Please remember we are still here to help you with all your Pharmacy essentials, we are just doing it a little differently!
