24.01.2022 The 6 Million Dollar Project Just over 12 months ago when we started working on the drought, little did we dream wed be still hard at it a year later, let alon...e having reached so many farmers with so many still to go. Since the start of last year we have serviced farms in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia for the drought, as well as dealing with several Victorian fires and the North Queensland floods. A total of nearly 2500 farmers helped in the last year! These deliveries have been done with just about 700 truck and trailer loads, carrying about 25,000 large square or round bales, and other stock feed, transported from all 6 states, worth around $6,000,000. All achieved by a project managed by volunteers, no wages, on a shoestring budget! Its been your support that has kept us going, and its your support that will keep us going. 14.01.2022 The drought in NSW and Southern Queensland is far from over and the farmers there need our help. An opportunity to ship 300 bales of hay to NSW has come about a...t short notice, but the Circular Head Lions Club, local businesses and the community have banded together to ensure the availability of space on the ship is not passed over.
