08.01.2022 Invited to attend the Darling Harbour Sydney Convention CeBIT technology conference. We were able to promote Lithgow and the community hosted tourism for our region. Connectivity is necessary to ensure our host visitor attractions are linked with tourist agents. Ultimate tourism businesses will depend on innovative technology to ensure the best visitor experience can be offered. This requires business startup funds. We were booth 52 in the startup alley...more photos and notes to come. We have to do something while we wait on the result of our submission to Rebuilding NSW, Environment and Tourism Fund.

04.01.2022 Community Hosted Tourism is a big picture concept to foresee a long-term sustaining commercial outcome by hosting top of the market travellers. Our goal is creating the best ever holiday experience, for long-stay local visitor opportunities, combining special interest tours, knowledge centres and rural resorts accommodation.

Community Hosted Tourism in our submission has been identified the Lithgow offers a best case example of a first region start-up. Focussing realistic opportunities in a tourism industry that include catering for long-stay visitors: organised to utilise all the attractions; develop our existing assets, and all facilitated through a community ba...sed-sharing economy model. Our nomination to NSW Government is to support the development of one region as a first best case example, replicable state-wide business model. And this one region is Lithgow. The success of the first region would attract further and ongoing private dollars from industry wanting to copy that success for maximum, ongoing, local jobs, and earnings returns. Business replication is then implemented through franchise management framework and applied in each of the 200 regions of New South Wales; the 500 regions of Australia and will incorporate corresponding regions and their indigenous communities. Our model is progressively applicable for the ongoing development of local economies in Australian rural and regional areas. Promoting Lithgow and a strong tourism economy. We all have a role to play in our future. This model is not impossible to put together - it is needed to harness solid success for the business community. Support Lithgow as the first best case example. Otherwise, another region will do this and we will miss out. There are so many reasons for Lithgow to be the first and best case region.
