25.01.2022 The men’s group enjoyed doing something a little bit different last week and went on a brewery tour at Little Creatures Brewery! The guys enjoyed a guided tour around the brewery and learnt everything there is to know about brewing beer. It was such an interesting and cool experience, they even got to sample some beer at the end of the tour, too. #anythingispossiblewithUandI #ourvisionisyourvision #trueactivecommunitychoices

25.01.2022 A wonderful 2 night trip away for one of our participant's. We explored the Avenue of Honour to pay respects for our War veterans. We went swimming at the indoor pool facility , had plenty of fun and laughter at the gamesroom like table tennis, foosball, PS4 gaming and watched 2 movies at night time.... We ate at many fantastic establishments like pizza hut all you can eat buffet & Ballarat hotel. We even had a chance to visit the Ballarat Sunday market and shopping at Ballarat central Square to pick up some goodies. Overall a brilliant trip thoroughly enjoyed by our participant that made all of the above choices as it always should be . #yourvisionwillalwaysbeourvision #trueactivecommunitychoices #anythingispossiblewithUandI

We have just become a Not-For-Profit organisation & Charity. This is a big step and looking to continue our great momentum into 2020 and beyond. As you may all know we have been operating close to 3 years now in the Disability sector. We currently working with 25+ families across the Geelong, Surf Coast & Bellarine Region. We have a great team of 14 Staff & 2 Volunteers and are making an unbelievable difference in the lives of people with disabilities. U&I Inclusions is continuing to steadily grow here in our wonderful Greater Geelong region . We have been working day & night to get to where we are so far, with plenty of more to do and new opportunities just around the corner. 24.01.2022 What a fun day out at Sorrento for the Men’s Group. We all enjoyed a scenic ferry ride to Sorrento and had a great time exploring all Sorrento has to offer. 24.01.2022 With growing concern over the COVID-19 virus and it's impact on services, please be rest assured that we are keeping our finger on the pulse with any updates being announced by the Federal and State Governments, Fair Work Australia and peak bodies (WHO etc), and will act on any required information immediately. At present, it is business as usual for programs, HOWEVER, we ask that if a participant is unwell or has been in direct contact with someone who has been required to s...elf isolate, that they please avoid coming to our programs until medical clearance has been given. Staff will be asking participants each morning when they arrive to pick them up for programs, if they are feeling unwell. If a participant states that they are not feeling well, they will NOT be permitted at U&I Inclusions programs, and it will be the parent or Next Of Kin's responsibility to make alternate arrangements. 23.01.2022 An incredible day out at a wonderful location just outside of Geelong. This place is a hidden gem. It has an accessible maze, cafe setup and toilets for people with disabilities. Overall, a wonderful vibe and beautiful setting amongst the Barrabool Hillls. ... Our participant (Matt) loved every moment from the maze, to the gardens, and the lunch menu. National Disability Day is important as people with disabilities often feel unnoticed in society. Today, we should try and be more open-minded, compassionate, or even think about the accessibility for places you may be, for people in wheelchairs, or vision impaired. 17.01.2022 Such a fun day today for one of our groups visiting the Werribee Open Range Zoo! Our participants enjoyed the Safari bus tour and getting to see some of the animals close up, while learning some interesting facts along the way from our tour guide Matt. Afterwards, we wandered around the rest of the Zoo to check out the other animals aswell. Including Payroll, Accounts Receivable / Payable + Disability Support Worker When did you start with the U&I team?: October 2019... Qualifications: Certificate 3 Individual Support worker What motivated you to work in the disability sector?: firstly, I fell into Admin at U&I. After witnessing firsthand, the support worker / participant relationships, I decided that I wanted to work with participants also! What do you like most about your job?: The variety of working in Admin as well as working with participants, I love seeing the participants smiling faces! The staff at U&I are like a family in itself What three things would you take to a deserted island? Phone, comfy bed and a good book! A food you have never tried: Eel Something you are proud of: Raising two girls, mostly on my own Favourite show to watch on TV: The Voice Most amazing place you have ever been: Las Vegas!! The lights are amazing and there is always so much going on What is something you would like to learn to do? Surf! Do you have an hidden talents? I wish! I attempt to sing and dance

10.01.2022 The Wednesday group enjoyed a day out at the Ballarat Wildlife Park where we had a walk around and got the chance to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s native animals. We even got to watch the meerkat and penguin show! The group’s favorite animals were the koalas and the free-roaming kangaroos. 08.01.2022 Amazing day out with full of adventures with our participants. -We played Mini Golf -Went for a ride on the Ferris wheel -Jumped into lazy river lagoon -Raced down as fast as possible on the aqua racer... Went on the terrifying waterslides ' The Tsunami' (new ride) and the infamous 'Tornado' waterslide. 02.01.2022 Amazing Result . U&I Inclusions has just received a Charity & Not-For-Profit Status. Please read, Like & Share (This will only benefit people with Disabilities) ... Approximately 3 Years ago I had a dream of creating something spectacular for people with Disabilities. With plenty of encouragement from my wife, we created U&I Inclusions Pty Ltd to support people with disabilities to achieve their dreams and aspirations. 3 Years on, we have had a remarkable response from the public, for the need for an Organisation like ours to access supports, and we’ve done just that. Over this time we have supported more than 40 families from the Surf Coast, Bellarine & Geelong Region (All without advertising, which is a little scary to think of). Today marks a very special occasion for our little local Geelong Organisation as we have received a Not-For-Profit & Charity Status through the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for- Profit Commission. Our new organisational name moving forward is U&I Inclusions (Australia) Ltd We still provide high quality day program services, but we are now very well equipped with the potential power to access government grants/funds, undertake fundraising events, receive donations (Fully Tax Deductible) from the general public and sponsorship deals, creating more networks in our Geelong Region, which will further connect us all together as an inclusive world for all to enjoy. Overall, it’s been a very arduous journey, learning, adapting, sourcing knowledge and collaborating information to make this all happen. But luckily, we have a very dedicated team that sees a great vision for bettering people’s lives with a disability in our Geelong Community. The first up-coming fundraising event is: $1000.00 for 1000 Reasons Campaign (ARK Project). (ARK- Acts of Random Kindness) We are aiming for 100 individuals and local Businesses to get behind us for 2020/2021 This campaign is to try to raise close to $250,000. This will help to re-develop and restore parts of the 2.77-acre property in which we obtained, to its former glory (Needs lots of TLC). Some examples of redevelopments are building accessible bathrooms, toilets, ramps, carparking, extensive Exterior/interior restoration, gardening & painting etc. If there are any Local individuals or Geelong Businesses that would like to get involved and/or support our Charity & Not-For-Profit Organisation, please Private Message me on Facebook or call my work phone on 0436 482 634.
