24.01.2022 Call out - We are in need of some Christmas gifts for children aged 0-5years who participate in our supported playgroup. We are also seeking gifts for children in our homework program aged 8-12 years old. Please drop off at our centre at 52 Raglan St, Manly between 10am-3pm Monday to Friday. No need to wrap them.... 18.01.2022 Community Northern Beaches recently held it’s AGM to reflect on the year that was, and elect a new Management Committee. This star-studded event was attended by all three levels of Government, who provide such positive support for our work. @zalisteggall , Member for Warringah, @jamesgriffinmp , Member for Manly, Michael Reagan, Mayor of Northern Beaches Council, his Deputy, Candy Bingham, @good_for_manly and Councillors Pat Daley and Vince De Luca were present. The AGM wa...s privileged to have Zali, James and Michael all say a few words about the work we have undertaken during the year, and the key part we play in providing services to the Beaches community. Whilst this year’s event was necessarily smaller than usual it was great to be able to get together, present special awards to deserved contributors such as our Treasurer Bill Barnes, and afterwards offer a tour of our new premises. 10.01.2022 There has been an overwhelmingly positive response to our Youth Boxing & Mentoring program which is being held at locations in both Manly and Chatswood. The program aims to support and encourage teenage girls to recognise, focus and build positive attitudes around self-esteem. It also improves confidence, resilience and overall wellbeing, whilst building physical strength & conditioning.

09.01.2022 We have partnered with Platinum Driving Tuition to provide road safety education and safe driving skills to our Multicultural community and youth. Pictured are learner driver Dhondup, driving instructor Steve and Multicultural Service Officer Dhondup Yultse. Thank you to the team at Platinum Driving School for your support, it will make a significant difference to our clients’ lives

08.01.2022 With the assistance of @communitynorthernbeaches Driving Program that provides the car and the volunteer driving instructor, our client Tenzin Topjor has passed his driving test taking the test for the first time! Congratulations Tenzin and thanks to the generous donors and volunteers that helped!
