13.01.2022 INCIDENT - Western Freeway, Rockbank re-opened UPDATE 8.45pm The outbound lanes of the Western Freeway have been re-opened through Rockbank, between Hopkins and... Leakes roads, following an earlier collision. Thanks for your patience while Victoria Police conducted investigations. #victraffic - UPDATE 4.30pm The Western Freeway, Rockbanks remains closed outbound between Hopkins Road and Leakes Road, following a serious collision around midday. Please avoid the freeway, as there are significant delays pushing back before Robinsons Road. Depending on where you're going to and from, try Boundary or Dohertys roads south of the freeway to reach Hopkins Road, or the Melton Highway or Calder Freeway to the north Roads near the closures are also busier than usual, including Caroline Springs Boulevard, Taylors Road, Station Road and Robinsons Road. There is currently no access to the Western Freeway outbound from Ballarat Road, Caroline Springs. Please plan your afternoon travel and allow plenty of extra time. Victoria Police will re-open the road when their investigations are complete. #victraffic --------------------- All outbound lanes of the Western Freeway, Rockbank are closed between Hopkins and Leakes roads, due to a serious collision. Please follow the direction of Victoria Police and be patient along the detour using Greigs Road. The Melton Highway provides a good alternative, depending on where you're coming from. There are significant delays in the area, so you'll need to allow plenty of extra time for your journey. The closure is under the control of Victoria Police. Outbound lanes of the Western Freeway will open when investigations are complete and it’s safe to do so. #victraffic
