25.01.2022 Here are some of the many faces of our Immediate Past President Ian Hart. We love to watch the Dance Of A Master.... A Seasoned Toastmaster. Thank you to Ian for all his hard work this last year doing the President role.

25.01.2022 President's Newsletter snippet......Como Communicators - Meeting No. 329 - Saturday 3 August 2019 Dear Members Loved the meeting on Saturday. I reckon Ian had us all laughing with his 'grumpy old men' speech; could be a winner at the next Melbourne comedy show. (Editor: Or the Toastmasters Humorous Speech competition coming up soon).... As usual, Monica did a great job being the Toastmaster and getting us through the meeting. Sri delivered his second speech that had message of gratitude; these make excellent speeches. We had two new visitors on Saturday, both named Michelle! Really look forward to seeing both Michelle's at the next meeting and learning more about Toastmasters. Lastly, our recent visitor, Krystian, has now joined Toastmasters after getting a feel for it. Really looking forward to seeing Krystian's 'ice breaker' speech, I am sure Krystian will do a great job. Look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting. Have a great next few weeks and take it easy. I will be in touch again early next week to provide a copy of the agenda for the next meeting. If you have any queries feel free to contact me. Kind regards Como Communicators TM Club ------------------ Here's Krystian from our August 17th meeting conducting the Travelling Tales and getting everyone's imagination firing up for a rollicking tale experience. Well done Krystian

20.01.2022 Here is our 2019-2020 Club President Powering Up. Go President Go!

19.01.2022 Heather from another Toastmasters Club paid us a visit at our last meeting. She wanted to try out the 2 activities we have at our club for 'Impromptu Speaking', Table Topics & Travelling Tales, as they don't do them at her club. Our Evaluations are also conducted a bit different to her home club apparently. Thanks for visiting Heather. You're welcome anytime you want to brush up on those skills. For someone who said they needed more impromptu practice she really blew our socks off... we learn't more from her than she possibly realizes

17.01.2022 Public Speaking Tip 4: Holding on to your breath for a few seconds will decrease your heart rate and calm you down. If your anxious or nervous before you give a speech or presentation try this tip in advance, it may work for you. But don’t hold onto your breath for too long!
