24.01.2022 He’s so excited. I love this

23.01.2022 For many, this year has been extremely hard. In living memory, there hasnt been one like it. And in hard times, its important that we all make an effort to r...each out to one another and check in. From the early days of the pandemic weve been separated from friends and family. Many worried where the next pay check was coming from. There was uncertainty for business owners concerned not just about their own livelihood but also the livelihoods of the people they employ. More recently, weve thought about the safety of our family and friends over east. We have had to deal with the anxiety of what will happen if we have an outbreak in WA, and what that will mean for our loved ones here at home, who are at high risk from the virus. And while COVID-19 has been on our mind life didnt stop. It all takes a toll. It can be a lot. Thats why its so important - more important than ever - to check in on your mates. If you think they might be struggling, be sure to check in and ask if they are ok. Let them know youre here for them. Let them know you care. Let them know it will not always be like this. Let them know theres hope. This isnt just a message for one day, or one week. Its something we can do every day. Look after yourself, take care of your friends, and remember, were in this together.

22.01.2022 September is #SelfCareAwarenessMonth We ticked 4 out of 5 today thanks to our dogs!

17.01.2022 Yet again we are disappointed with the amount of people on FB that advise others NOT to take injured wildlife to Vets. "Don't take it to a vet, they will just ...kill it" Why would you deny a suffering animal? Especially, one that is in pain. Shelters/Rehabilitators work along side their local Vets. Rehabilitators are NOT Vets, and rely on their assistance for xrays, medications etc. If we advise you to take an animal to a Vet there are many reasons why; - In the case of obvious breaks, Vets can do initial assessment (xrays etc) - Vets are able to administer pain relief - Often it saves on double handling. If you can take it to a vet, it's less stress on the animal as it's not being passed around. - Rehabilitators/Shelters have wildlife to care for. Often they have to wait in clinics like everyone else, so once the Vet has done their assessment it's just a matter of someone picking it up saving valuable time. So to those advising people not to take wildlife to Vets, please stop. It's just cruel.

02.01.2022 Major news for classic car owners in WA! Starting early next year, West Aussies with a classic vehicle will receive a 75% discount on their annual licensing fee...s. Our Concessions for Classics scheme will slash red tape for car and motorcycle enthusiasts with a street rod or a vehicle manufactured before 1990 and who are a member of a Department of Transport approved club. The scheme will ensure even more vintage car lovers can hit the road with their street rod for 90 days of the year. The Concessions for Classics scheme is the result of months of consultation with the motoring community, and our Government will continue to work alongside them to implement to scheme.
