04.01.2022 The Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) Clinic in Newman, WA has officially opened. Designed by Kaunitz Yeung Architecture has completed without delay ...and within budget through Covid19. It is the first primary healthcare facility to be constructed in Newman delivering a state of the art facility that places wellness at the centre of the community. Made of rammed earth from the site and almost entirely powered by solar. PAMS Board, Robby Chibawe (PAMS CEO) & the PCG Guy Docker, Jenny Sal AHCWA (Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia) & Matt Sanderson have all contributed to this project.
