25.01.2022 Typical Venus Fly-Traps reaching maturity. These guys can be potted up and grown outside now. They'll acclimatize in time for summer and never look back.

24.01.2022 Some nice Sarracenia pitcher growth.

23.01.2022 Dionaea seedlings at nearly 2 years old. These seeds were planted way to close together. Even though they're small, make sure seeds are spaced with a few centimetres between them. Overcrowded seedlings are slower to grow and can harbour pests and diseases.

22.01.2022 Just a reminder.. as the weather warms up increase the water level of outside grown Dionaea and Sarracenia. Where these plants come from, most of the rain happens in summer. In the middle of summer, pots can be half submerged. Humid, wet and hot, a perfect combination for happy carnivorous plants.

12.01.2022 A Sarracenia oreophila pitcher developing. In a few days this pitcher will be open and catching insects. Sarracenia oreophila stops growing carnivorous pitchers much earlier than most other Sarracenia.

11.01.2022 Dionaea (Venus Fly-Trap) seed pods ready to have their seeds harvested. Seeds are small and oval shaped with a shiny seed coat. Harvesting takes place between February to March. Seeds germinate in 21 - 28 days.

10.01.2022 Don’t forget to get your order in by the 13th of December to guarantee delivery by Christmas.

06.01.2022 Sarracenia seedlings ready to be pricked out into their own pots.

06.01.2022 Dionaea 'Dutch Delight' are looking magnificent. The cooler summer conditions at the moment are promoting growth and giving these plants the respite they need to maintain themselves.

04.01.2022 A brand new Sarracenia flower spike growing high above young pitchers.
