We give thanks today to our beautiful grandma for sharing her experiences & role in supporting the war efforts, starting as a teenager with her father, Poppop Lloyd and through to her adult life with her husband, our Grandpa Jack. My sister and I have been fortunate to learn about your childhood in Townsville, your engagement proposal after a controversial AWOL episode (!)...and many more stories that we will continue to share ...with our children. Daphne Green is an amazing 92.5 year old who still displays such courage, ambition, resourcefulness and humour in her daily life. We learn from you, and are blessed by your guidance. Love you to bits...and THANK YOU for your service. xx
