24.01.2022 I love motocross.. I have a different perspective on it compared to most and I think it's because I've been around the sport for so long, as a competitor, team manager, coach of juniors and seniors... I see alot of the same mistakes and Unfortunatley it's a sport where people who have been around a year or two think they know everything.... and want to tell you what they know!!! I only just heard of @postmoto_ podcast it was the Jake Moss interview that got me tuned in. I ha...ve alot of respect for Jake and wanted to hear his story... Now I've listened to 4 interviews in four days... @mossy102 @kdub1968 @ksfkrew and @jakemoss6 .. There is some incredible on-site and information in these interviews.. exceptional.. and credit must go to the @post Moto team for their ability to ask questions and not give the answer, but let the guests answer... I have no association with @post Moto but recommend you give the show a.listen. Beware of the language though!! Great show with some.great perspective on motocross from people who know...

10.01.2022 Riddle me this.... when KR 94 is in championship contention he fades from first to tenth... He has shingles (in a Covid quarantine lock down)... trouble breathing (for months) and when championship pressure is off, he wins... and not only doesn't fade but runs away with it..... I love Ken... to get to where he is after what he's been through is nothing short of super human.... But surely championship pressure has played it's part in his title run...... just my thoughts

10.01.2022 The good old days i remember very clearly the day i made the decision to try racing dirtbikes. It was late start, football had been my sport since I was 6y/o.. and at 18 I played in a GF. I was spent!!! Couldn't stand at the end of the game, and hung my head and cried with disappointment. I had given my all... i lifted my head and watched to of my team-mates wrestle and laugh... i had done a few mx club days at that point, but nothing serious. But I at that time I realised... I was the only one who could let myself down racing... no one else... all the responsibility sat with me ... good and bad. I races my first SX later that same year, and have been consumed by the challenge of being the best I can ever since... #6 Mick Cook #63Craig Anderson and me at one of the many races over the years... its never been easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is

08.01.2022 all Athletes, Coaches and Parents need to read the following (Yes this is a repost from another account.... @biradyannik ) In a race, (see picture), athlete Abel Mutai representing Kenya, was just a few feet from the finish line, but he was confused with the signage & stopped thinking he had completed the race. The Spanish athlete, Ivan Fernandez was right behind him & realizing what was happening, he started shouting at the Kenyan for him to continue running; but Mutai did...n't know Spanish didn't understand. Then the Spanish pushed him to victory. A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life". The journalist insisted "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win". The journalist insisted again, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him & replied, "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honour of that medal? What would my Mom think of that?" 06.01.2022 For me riding my dirtbike has become a job. One that I love, but I very rarely get to ride socially.. or with my son @tobysullivan76... Yes he rides at our coaching s schools but we never get quality time riding together cause I have a group of rider / racers that get my attention.... This weekend was a great week end... we rode together and a had the best time.. he rode so well I was incredibly proud... Yes it's a job, a job I love, one that's not possible with out the ...support of many people.. Our new relationship with@motokit is exciting, I love what they've done with our logo and look of the bikes, @bikebiz for years of endless support, And the great people @cassonsaustraliamotorcycle for their belief in my work and business...
