14.01.2022 Hey, Fisho's Who got out the past week? Here's what we've heard.... There's heaps of bait out there inshore and offshore. A few yellowfin out there around the 300 fathom mark. plus plenty of sharks! Offshore the bottom bashers are doing well with a good mixed bag of ling, latchet and gem fish. Inshore flathead are about around the 40m mark. snapper and mowies on the reef edges. Salmon have been hanging on most beaches the afternoon sessions seems to be the best time. The Lake is starting to warm up and a few flatties have moved in to the main channel. 3 to 4in Plastics paddle tails, bait junkies, pro lure or yakamito or if you fish the flats on the top of the tide give the top water ago as a few big dusky as well as whiting have been willing to whack something of the top

Kings are starting to show up at the usual haunts, Just check out our previous post of the Kings we weighed last Sunday, we also weighed a bigger one later in the day. All the kings belted live slimeys! Still plenty of Salmon around the headlands and beaches tides are perfect in the morning or evening for a beach fish! Snapper are also being caught fish a little deeper around the 30 to 45m range for the bigger fish Lake Illawarra, Who says? there's no fish in there! Check out Callan Young cracker bream from the Lake yes the lake this fish was just shy of the magic 50cm mark at 48cm Well done Cal! The flatties are also on the chew but work the shallows.
