25.01.2022 I heard this quote a few weeks ago from @jayalderton. It is so damn true. It takes months and years of doing the work that no one see’s to get any reward.... The stuff that no one is patting you on the back for. The stuff that no one is saying well done, keep going. The stuff that no one is saying your working so hard. Put the work in behind the scenes everyday and soon enough you will be rewarded in public. Whether that is your health, business, body or career. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

25.01.2022 Realise everyday is a chance to grow and to chase after what you want in life. Keep showing up everyday and in time you will get the results your after. - That dream body you want ... TAKES TIME - That job promotion TAKES TIME - That car you’re saving up for TAKES TIME Focus on consistency everyday and you will be a lot further in 3 months time, in 1 years time, in 5 years time. I see to many people looking back on what they haven’t done instead of what they can be doing right now to change where they are in life. #fitness #personaltrainer #health #training #gym #motivation #humpday #completehealthandperformance

25.01.2022 Every one drinks soft drink, whether it's in a can or whether it's mixed in an alcoholic drink. The easiest way to save yourself some calories and tweak your nutrition/diet is by changing to no sugar/diet options. Yes it might taste slightly different but it makes a huge difference to your food intake.... Making small minor tweaks to your eating habits is the easiest thing you can do for fat loss. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #foodswap

25.01.2022 The thing that everyone secretly wants but necessarily doesn't want to admit. We just want to look better naked! It's not overly complicated either... - Lose excess body fat - Build some muscle Here's how we do it #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

25.01.2022 Obviously, home workouts are all the rage right now because of this lockdown, and I’m a firm believer in doing something is better than doing nothing but I’m seeing all over social media at the moment people putting up home workouts and training routines and there’s nothing wrong with that you can still get results for your body composition goals. But there’s a right way to do it and there’s also the wrong way. Here are a few things to prioritize when training at home with mi...nimal to no equipment. - Prioritize resistance training You should prioritize resistance training even in the gym, but all I’m seeing from these home workouts is a whole lot of core and conditioning circuits. Stick with what gets results and that’s overcoming resistance that then builds muscle. -Base your program of basic movement patterns (Squat, Lunge, Hinge, Push, Pull) Our basic movement patterns are what we can do pretty much anywhere, yes you will have to get creative with it but it still works. Following your basic movement patterns also gets us doing full-body sessions, which is ideal right now. - Use a variety of rep ranges (4-6, 8-12, 15-25) Using a variety of rep ranges isn’t only good for variety in your home workouts but also to get a different training stimulus. There’s no best set/rep scheme for every goal but here are some principles that work: Strength 1-6 reps Hypertrophy 8-12 reps Strength/Muscular Endurance 15-25 reps Click Link to Keep Reading https://completehealthandperformance.com.au//the-best-pos/ #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

25.01.2022 I've said this to a lot of you. Nutrition isn't complicated when it comes to getting results or improving your health. But there's always someone wanting to sell some shit that doesn't work, create some new diet to suck people in or offer some magic pill for quick results that won’t last.... Here are 4 myths when it comes to nutrition - Carbs are bad for you They're not at all, carbs are our main fuel source. The reason why people demonise carbs is that all too often this is what we overeat. (Eg Rice, Bread, Pasta) - Eating after 8 pm effects fat loss I don't even know how this shit started, but it's so wrong. At the end of the day it all just comes down to calories in and calories out. - Breakfast is the best meal of the day It doesn't matter when you eat, if you are over-consuming food you will gain weight. When your eating isn't the problem for people, is eating to much. - Sugar causes weight gain What a load of nonsense, sugar has nothing to do with it, we just like to blame sugar. I’ll say it again overeating causes weight gain not any type of food. Sugar unfortunately tastes nice so we like to eat those types of food but a little to much. Please guys stop complicating your nutrition, keep it simple. If your eating to much, lower the portions. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

22.01.2022 One of the hardest things to do in life is to take risks. It is also the scariest thing in life to do. All too often we stay in our comfort zone and never push ourselves.... In life we are always looking for 2 things. 1. Seeking Pleasure Or 2. Avoiding Pain More often than not to seek pleasure we have to go through some pain. To grow as a person we have to go through some pain. That's exactly what growth is, it's all-new you can never be ready for it. So stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and start being excited about what could go right. - That business you want to start? START IT - Thinking about improving your health START - Thinking of asking that guy/girl out FUCKING DO IT #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

21.01.2022 A common thing I see when people are starting on there fitness or weight loss journey is not knowing where to start or just focusing on training and doing nothing about there nutrition. Here are 3 simple things to implement this week that can make a huge difference. 1. Filling out a food diary is a great way to get an overview of your week and see what's good and what's bad. It allows us to see what your eating habits are, what gods your overeating and when binges arise.... 2. Once we have done step 1 we can then see where we’re going wrong by seeing what foods we are overeating. We all have foods that we overeat or binge on and that’s fine but it’s important to acknowledge that, then we can limit those foods to get a result. I’ve never been a fan of cutting out foods because this just leads to us craving it even more. 3. I’m sure we have all been told this at some point but another great place to start is increasing fruit & veg intake as the can decrease overeating and increase micronutrient intake. If your unsure where to start or need help send me the word HELP and we can send you over a food diary to fill in and review it when we get it back. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

20.01.2022 The part I love most about my job/business is being able to sit down with a client, set a goal and help them achieve it. The problem I find with most people though is they set a goal but don't do all they can to achieve it. Personally, I've never quite understood this, I've always been a future-oriented person. Always been someone to focus on what’s next, always wondering how life can get better, how can I get better, what goal can I chase and achieve. This is what keeps me ...motivated and happy. One of my clients once said to me Taran your very sure of yourself. At first this some what offended me, but then it got me thinking, yeah I am actually and why wouldn’t I be who else is going to be sure of me. If I’m not going to be sure of myself how will other people. More people need this attitude, more people need to set a goal for themselves, for their own happiness and not to please other people. More people need to be 100% sure of themselves. More people need to look intrinsically at what they really want out of life. If your struggling with this, if you need to be held accountable, if you need help. Send me a DM with the word HELP and let's get you started on your journey. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

16.01.2022 A friend of mine once said to me there’s never a right time to start. So just start. Stop looking for the right time, because it’s never coming.... Start with what you have and start where you are. Once we start and put 100% laser focus on doing that thing we started then we start building habits and routines. Habits and Routines is how we make it a lifelong change. Just like from a small age we brush our teeth night and day. This is a habit that we have built up through years and years of doing it. So stop expecting to change everything overnight and then wondering why you quit. They say it takes 66 days for a new behaviour to become automatic. So stop being so hard on yourself, give yourself a pat on the back for starting and stick with it. 16.01.2022 To be honest, something I've always struggled with is believing in myself. If your not overly close to me it's not something that is noticeable. But over the years I've gotten better with it and started to trust myself more and my own ability. ... Don't do what I have done for years, believe in yourself and know you alone can dictate every aspect of your own life and make it exactly what you want it to be. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

14.01.2022 I get this question a lot How do I figure out my baseline calories? Each person is different when it comes to this, it comes down to your age, height, weight, daily activity level and body fat %.... Once you know this, it is a good place to start. I don't tell everyone to count calories, but if you think you have tried everything to lose fat, and nothing has worked I can guarantee you, you haven't counted calories accurately or for long enough to see a result. The thing with keto, paleo, fasting and any other shit you think is magical it all comes back down to being in a calorie deficit. 12.01.2022 One of the biggest problems I see with people trying to get in shape and lose weight is over complicating nutrition. Because they over complicate it they either never start or they start and give up within the first few weeks. Here is a pyramid of what to prioritise when it comes to nutrition for body composition.... 1. Energy Balance No matter what you do if you are over-consuming food you will not lose fat. That is just physiology. Get this right first, make sure you burning more energy then you are consuming. 2. Macronutrients Once you have sorted out energy balance then sort your macronutrients (protein, carbs & fats) out. Focus on prioritising protein and aim to hit 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight. Then carbs and fats can vary day by day. 3. Micronutrients When you have sorted out the previous 2 you will start seeing fat loss, next is to look at your nutrition and make sure you get good quality vitamins and minerals into your body through vegetables, meat, fish, seeds, nuts etc 4. Nutrient Timing Heading to the top of the pyramid this is what I see too many people focusing on, they're putting the cart before the horse and looking at when should they eat, should they eat before they train in the morning, should they eat 3 hours before bed. All these thoughts are irrelevant for 90% of people who train. Focus on the fundamentals first. 5. Supplements The magic pill scenario, I can tell you right now there is no powder or pill that will get you from fat to fit overnight, it takes patience and consistency. Now there are certain supplements that I recommend for clients but don't make it you're first priority. If you have always struggled with nutrition like most people, if you don't know where to start with it and if you have many unanswered questions. DM me I'm more then happy to answer your questions and point you in the right direction

06.01.2022 Before you say anything, yes we know this is very corny. Another thing we know is a common problem in people achieving their goals with there physique, health or fitness is that they don't think they can. They get all motivated to change and then when it comes down to it they don't implement. ... It could be down to laziness, poor time management, not being educated enough but a lot of the time it's them not believing they can change, them not believing that they can become something else. They have become so used to the way they are and so use to the negative self-talk in their head that they go back to how things were before as it was easier and there was no self-doubt back then. The first thing you must do is believe you can change, no matter what it is. Keep reminding yourself over and over again and eventually, you will. Once you believe you can change then make sure you commit by going all-in. Don't half-ass it, don't make excuses after a month or two and don't let that self doubt kick back in. Go all in, in 2021! #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

03.01.2022 There's more than one way to skin a cat, just like there's more than one way to lose weight. The fundamentals of weight loss are energy in/ energy out. But a lot of people just focus on eating less but there are multiple things that you can change and manipulate to cause an energy deficit.... 1. Eat Less Most people overeat, so the easiest thing to change is there eating habits to get them eating less and losing weight. 2. Train More If your someone who isn't training at the moment or only training 2x week and finding it hard cutting back on food, simply start training more to increase energy output. 3. Increase NEAT NEAT stands for Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis, this is simply moving more. The old school thing of ride to work, or take the stairs over the lift. This can be up to 20% of our energy every day so it's an easy thing to increase. 4. Increase Protein Intake This refers to the thermic effect of food, so our bodies ability to break down food and digest it. Protein requires 30% more energy to break down then Carbs & Fats, so simply increase high Protein foods. 5. Build Muscle Tissue The more muscle tissue we have built the more energy we burn every day, so start doing resistance training and building some muscle. #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw

01.01.2022 All too often I see people waiting for the right moment to start something. I can tell you right now, there is never a right time to start. There will always be something that gets in the way, it could be your kid's stuff, work-related things or family dramas. ... But they are never ever going to go away, there will always be some sort of complication or something that needs your time and energy. How often have you said to yourself either of these things: - I wish I could train I just don't have the time - I'll start eating better next Monday - I wish I had the energy to wake up earlier You can do all of these things, you're constantly just telling yourself you can’t. Everyone has the same 24hrs in a day, but it's up to us to decide what we do with the time. The best piece of advice I can give is to just start, stop overthinking it and start. The 2nd bit of advice I’ll give is to start small because I can guarantee it was more then you were doing before which was nothing. Enjoy your Monday #fitness #personaltrainer #motivation #gym #coach #fatloss #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #gymlifestyle #personaltraining #fitnesstips #diettips #nutritiontips #healthtips #trainingmotivation #coachinglife #ambitious #exercisemotivation #southcoast #fatlosscoach #completehealthandperformance #highachievers #fatlossmotivation #fatlosshelp #trainingtips #coachingtips #goaldriven #exercisetips #southcoastnsw
