They will be distributed to feed stores, nurseries and garden supplies across Melbourne. Two of our newest stockists are Ceres Permaculture and Bushfood Nursery, and Inner City Garden Supplies, both in Brunswick. Our pea straw is clean and bright and great for mulch and improving your soil.... Also, NO PLASTIC BAGS! A lot of pea straw now comes chopped up in a plastic bag... make sure you buy bag-free pea straw.

10.01.2022 An interesting job in the city yesterday... 300 bales of straw which will be arranged in an amphitheatre-style construction! We had 100+ first year/first day architecture students to help unload! In 4 weeks we will be picking up the strawbales again and taking them somewhere else to be used for mulch. Strawbales hire for parties, weddings and events is one of a number of services we offer!

06.01.2022 This is where it all started. Dad was out of work in 1990 but had been doing a bit with hay in the '80s. He bought this little truck with his savings and started buying and selling hay full time. Sons John and Hayden would have been about 11 and 8 years old in this picture. We helped Dad with the hay a lot when we were growing up and joined the business when we left school. We eventually took over in 2005 and have continued to build up the business into what it is today, the #1 wholesale hay supplier to the Melbourne market.

03.01.2022 New hay season and the hay is flowing! We've already shifted 2000 bales of beautiful oaten hay, more varieties coming soon. Oaten hay is plentiful at the moment, at good prices. However, any hay that requires irrigation such as lucerne, ryegrass or teff will be expensive this year as the price of irrigation water is so high.
