23.01.2022 Not all bathroom renovations are done to update or modernize. Some like this one are about fixing past issues and preventing future ones. This one I found several issues once the hob wall was removed, the shower had been leaking for so long the steel frame had rusted out completely. Under the bath where the plumbing came through the slab was never sealed and had vermin holes and dead rats and mice trapped in it. This lead to the infiltration of white ants which had a field da...y on the supporting timber noggins. Once stripped out, rebuilt, sealed and treated the shower and bath section was rebuilt to its original design using a more modern tile and hob. If you have cracked tiles in your shower especially near the base or on the hob wall you’re shower is probably leaking which can cause major damage. 20.01.2022 Just a little project this week, I really enjoyed the many and varied angles on this one.

13.01.2022 Hi friends, one of my favorite things to do is to spruce up older homes ready for sale. This home was built well but suffered from the ravages of time, my brief was to clean it up repaint and bring it into 2018. We needed potential buyers to see there was nothing to do and they could move in and enjoy from the first day. As you can see I did the basics, the kitchen which was just doors, laminate, paint and a few new appliances. The two bathrooms one of which needed a new shower and the other some new tiles and clean up. I replaced handles, tap wear and gave it some modern lighting which really changed the ambiance of the house. A big thank you to Wayne and Donna for trusting my judgment I really enjoyed bringing this beauty back to life.

06.01.2022 So with summer just around the corner Kathy and Chris where looking to spending more time around the pool. Their existing deck had seen better days so it was time to create a personal space that’s perfect for morning coffee or afternoon bubbles. The main driver for Chris was that he wanted little to no maintenance and Kathy didn’t need a big space but still wanted the warmth of timber grain. The answer was a custom built pergola with a composite deck using ModWood. We added p...ower, lights and a very stylish exterior fan for those hot windless afternoons. We finished off using concrete wood grain sleepers for edges and paved and back filled with Emeralds very own river rock. The Result is a modern space which creates perfect shade for the pool and a great place to relax on those hot summer afternoons. 05.01.2022 I have been very busy lately getting it done. This job was a new kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry. The existing bathroom and toilet suffered from some serious water damage caused by a leak in the wall behind the vanity. I replaced all the plasterboard fitted a new vanity, bath and when I got to the shower it too had been leaking. After the rebuilding and Waterproofing I tiled the lot and fitted the new shower screen. I replaced the toilet and laundry tub sealed and tiled in there as well. I fitted a new Hafele kitchen and tiled the splash backs I also incorporated a removable cutting board that the client loves. If you’re looking to update, repair or spruce up inside or out we can do that. I can help design, coordinate other trades and pretty much take the worry out of your hands.

02.01.2022 Well what have we been up too lately? Well the name of the business IS Complete Home Improvements. On this project we removed several trailer loads of palms and yukkas to reveal the damage they did over time to the fences. We replaced the damaged sections of fence and dug out a lot of bamboo. We then moved on to cleaning and painting the outside of the house, after more than 15 years in the paint and Hardware business I will only use the right products for the job and on Rend...erer a membrane is the only product to use for the best protection. A big thank you to Kim for trusting my choice of colour I think it works well. We cleaned and painted the garage including the floor and roller doors. After a final pressure clean of all the paths and driveway the outside is looking great. Next for this project is moving inside and updating the kitchen adding a dishwasher and re laminating the kitchen and bathroom bench tops.
