22.01.2022 Yesterday we finished off a significant installation of a high end Gasparini Industries S.r.l. 6m x 6mm guillotine out of Italy. The machine went into a Melbourne based company who wanted a guillotine that can preform day in and out with an 8-10 hour daily work load. The Gasparini guillotine was heavily optioned up with auto sheet thickness detection which adjusts the gap and rake of the blade automatically via a laser sensor, auto cut function which enabled the operator to ...push the material against the back gauge and when two sensors are activated the machine cuts automatically with no operator input. With these options the machine operator has minimal input with settings and the machine adjusts and cuts automatically increasing the productivity and throughput. The most significant option was a custom made back gauge so the high volume of stainless steel being processed would stack automatically without scratching. This was designed specifically for the customer.
