22.01.2022 Our home for the next three weeks. Today we bought in a bunch of PC's and setup a professional training centre in one of the large rooms at Kogarah City Council. We are now ready and pumped for three (3) solid weeks of Microsoft Office training for all staff starting tomorrow morning. Should be awesome and can't wait!

22.01.2022 UPDATE - MICROSOFT OFFICE 2019 CERTIFICATION As of this July 2019 the Office 365 and Office 2019 Microsoft Office Specialist Certification program has launched. Currently three exams for Office 2019/Office 365 have been released. Word Associate, Excel Associate and PowerPoint Associate with the remaining exams to follow soon. Associate will be the new replacement name for Specialist. The Excel 2019 Excel Expert Exam is currently being finalised and should be released around September 2019 with the remaining products to follow. 22.01.2022 An awesome day again yesterday at one of my favourite places to train, Watsons Bay. The HR Manager of KFC, Staff from the Australian Paralympic Committee, a Pharmaceutical Training Specialist (previous client), a Speech Pathologist business owner, a previous client that flew all the way from New Zealand just to attend our 9 day BootCamp and a staff member from a Fire Protection company. A great day had by all.

13.01.2022 In Early 2020 we say Goodbye to Microsoft Edge Goodbye to the Old Microsoft Edge (and Internet Explorer)... In 2015, with the release of Windows 10, Microsoft Edge was born as a replacement for Internet Explorer (released 1995). It was hoped by Microsoft that this new Web Browser would address many user concerns about incompatibility and the sluggishness of Internet Explorer.... Many users simply preferred to download a copy of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as they seemed to run faster with fewer problems. Sadly, even though Microsoft Edge was already pre-installed with Windows 10 it didn’t seem to be winning the battle. Microsoft have now officially scrapped the old code behind Windows Edge and very soon, everyone will be upgraded to a brand new browser. Microsoft Uses Open Source Code from Google Chrome I guess if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Google Chromium is the free and open-source code (free software) used by Google to write Google Chrome. Microsoft have now also used this code as the base of their new Web Browser which will be installed on all PC’s worldwide shortly. Basically both Google and Microsoft take this base code and then add embellishments and features to make it their own. The original code was designed by Google to feel ‘lightweight and FAST’. When will I get this Update? The simple answer is, if you wait your PC will automatically update through Windows Update soon. The process officially started on 15th January 2020 with some PC’s already starting to update with everyone else to follow in the coming month or two. If you would like to update now, rather than wait, there is a simple solution for this as well. Use the following link right now to upgrade your PC to the latest stable version: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge P.S. It is also available for MacOS. That way you can start playing with its new features right away and get the jump on everyone else. Enjoy!

13.01.2022 The end of day 1 of 2 days of training for Bank of China in Sydney City. Over the 2 days I will upgrade 80 Excel users to the new features and enhancements of the latest version. Next week their interstate offices around the country will get an injection of new skills.

05.01.2022 A great day of Excel training for 10 staff members at KFC Head Office in Frenchs Forest (Yum International is the mother company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in Australia). Day 2 of this two day course next Wednesday! Great Group of motivated students...
