24.01.2022 Another day, another threat, but this is one of the best Ive seen recently. The payload website is responsive, looks exactly like the website it is impersonating, links back to the original website and the domain name is only one character off the original. The grammar could use some work :P Finally it detects if you are connecting from a mobile and offers a different download. Were checking out what it does on an Android device now.

23.01.2022 Havent seen this before - fake E-Toll email. Has literally just come in, havent had a chance to see what it is about yet. Would put a bet on it being ransomware so just dont click

23.01.2022 150 days until copper services are turned off in the highlighted area! Start your migration NOW! (psst... We can do it all for you with no fuss)

22.01.2022 This coating of dust protects delicate computer components from harmful UV rays. (You should get your PC serviced regularly to ensure its longevity)

21.01.2022 If youre anything like me, youve already received this message more times than you care to count in the last couple of days. Were aware of COVID-19, were protecting our employees, clients, suppliers, etc. Add CR&T to the list. COVID-19 is on our radar, it has impacted our supply chain (it is improving), but our day to day work has not been impacted. Being a technology company, weve always had the ability to work remotely on our client systems, as well as work remotely fr...Continue reading

20.01.2022 With our blogs, we hope to bring you information that will be of value to you, not just spruik products at you. On that note heres a product, but it is pretty likely you havent heard of it before :P Cel-Fi is a device that will boost your mobile signal. Great for farms and rural businesses it can improve both call quality and internet connection speed.

17.01.2022 WannaCry ransomware has been all over the news, but what makes it so dangerous http://www.crt.net.au//the-digital-wor/wannacry-ransomware Key takeaway: Patch your machines and have a good backup!

17.01.2022 Our internet and voice services are continuing to run OK but obviously calls and internet traffic to some Telstra destinations are not working. Mobiles also hit and miss at the moment. The fire was at an exchange in Chatswood.

17.01.2022 Welcome to 2016! Im a bit late to the party I know... Lets start the year off with this clear gap in the Dubbo technology market.

15.01.2022 We normally have a tech meeting on Tuesdays but there hasnt been a good turnout this morning. Thats because weve got techs visiting Gunnedah, Tamworth, Walgett, Parkes and Warren today - we regularly service the majority of regional NSW. (There are still plenty of techs in Dubbo, but then I wouldnt have an excuse to take photos of my dog at work)

14.01.2022 High-Availability environments allow for maximum uptime of server workloads. Like this one that is celebrating 1000 days uptime today!

14.01.2022 Very convincing fake ANZ statement email in the wild now. Note that hovering over the link confirms it links to a compromised site.

11.01.2022 Exercise caution with emails appearing to be from Optus over the coming days. Yet another Cryptolocker variant in the wild right now.

11.01.2022 A warning that crypto malware makers have changed their approach and are now impersonating AGL in an attempt to get you to download their nasties. Be cautious of any emails purporting to be from AGL and also look out for hxxp://agl-bills.net in the address bar - thats a dead giveaway the site is malicious. Stay safe!

11.01.2022 Quick DIY project to boost your WiFi signal (not child or pet friendly).

11.01.2022 WARNING: Cryptolocker is back to faking Australia Post emails/websites and is hitting mailboxes right now. There is no longer a CAPTCHA code, the website just automatically downloads the malicious payload. Think before you click!

10.01.2022 Its #WorldBackupDay - and this blog post from last year is just as relevant today. Backup is always relevant. Businesses should be backing up their data every single day, possibly more! No obligation backup assessment still on offer

08.01.2022 Dont forget to like/share/tag if the information is helpful to you. The msconfig part in step one will throw you on Windows 8/10 - but it will take you to the Startup tab in Task Manager to disable items regardless. Enjoy!

08.01.2022 Our website is now live! Head over to www.crt.net.au and check it out! Special thanks to Mat Skinner for being our front page model.

06.01.2022 Every day is Take Your Dog To Work Day at CR&T. These dogs have definitely not been coaxed with treats in order get a photo....

03.01.2022 Weve seen a wave of Cryptolocker emails impersonating AGL and AusPost. Not new compared to previous similar emails, but the volume has definitely picked up yesterday and today. Dont get an early Christmas present in the form of an encrypted system

02.01.2022 Dont put this off until the new year.
