01.01.2022 It is with some sadness that after 20 plus years, Comwide’s involvement with the mine on North Stradbroke Island is slowly coming to the end. Like it or not, the mine injected money into the local economy and businesses like Comwide and it was always a joy to be paid to play in the sand. It will be interesting to see how the island transitions once the mine completely goes. Thanks for all the good memories
