22.01.2022 Stage one of easing coronavirus restrictions begins tomorrow in NSW. Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to reopen for up to 10 patrons at a time. This is really only going to be viable for small restaurants and cafes, and those who are doing a good turnover in delivery and takeaway. So while it wont work for all its a positive first step. And if it goes ahead without any major spikes in Covid-19 cases ... then roll on stage two! 11.01.2022 Today @concepthospitalitys @chefjustinnorth had another wonderful, worthy and glamorous event but this time he was sitting at a table, not standing at the pass! Its the Bathers Gold Lunch at @batherspavilion, Balmoral Beach, which raises money for cystic fibrosis patients at Sydney Childrens Hospital, Randwick. It aimed to raise $100,000 and absolutely smashed it: $125K for kids in need. Were elated that our auction contribution two private dinners/cocktail parti...es catered by Justin, with drinks supplied by @worldwineestates and wait staff from @stedmanshospitality, each raised $6,500. Result! And check out the food: a luscious round of tomato tartare with tomato jelly and society garlic, then seared crisp skin kingfish with red pepper coulis.
