04.01.2022 It is with the heaviest & severely broken heart that we have to announce that Concept - Canberra’s first independent Makeup & Brow studio - will be closing it’s doors on Saturday 19 September after more than 5 years of operation on the Kingston Foreshore. 2020 has been a really, really tough year. It started with COVID-19 when we were forced to close our doors for the mandatory 11 weeks lockdown. Since reopening we learned that Concepts tenancy space had been sold to a new o...wner and unfortunately their plans didn’t include us. We considered moving but fit-out costs just weren’t viable in the current financial climate. Personally I need to say how much I love & appreciate all of the Concept team - particularly our Manager Loren - who have remained strong through the COVID lockdown. Each Concept ‘family’ member wholeheartedly focussed on bringing Concept back bigger & better than ever. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You don’t deserve this outcome and I am truly sorry I couldn’t make it work. As always I would like to thank all of Concepts loyal clients, many who have been with us from the very beginning. You have not only been our clients but you have also become our friends. We will miss each & every one of you.
