24.01.2022 Dear Family & Friends, I am writing as I need your continued help. Please. We urgently need more than just the Medevac funds now and we are still short of fun...ds. https://www.gofundme.com/f/hunter039s-urgent-medevac-to-aus Although we have had amazing success yesterday in obtaining Hunter’s emergency Australian passport, we are hindered by the need for his Medicare Card to get Hunter into a hospital here in Australia. They won’t accept him without it and days continue to be lost while we wait on administration. We cannot get the Australian Government’s approval to fly him in without an accepting hospital - the red tape continues. More delays will be ineviatble. My poor son is "fit to fly NOW and as a result the hospital in USA will now need $2054 AUD a day to hold him (as the insurance he has will no longer cover his care). We must keep him in the best care we can so that he can remain fit to fly. The process continues to move forward but is arduous. We are at best are looking at an additional 20-30K Australian until we get him on that planeper AeroMedical. Please, PLEASE share this with friends and family and please give what you can:(.
