25.01.2022 In a recent ABC article it mentions I claim to be the town councellor. At Concettas we're not councellors but we are here to listen and have a chat for anyone who needs it. Because everyone knows I like to talk. Haha As much as the community supports us this is the way we can support you. I do ask people How are you today and it can be a positive response but people are also struggling.... Someone once told us at Concettas they feel it's a safe place where they can come and talk. So it's true if I can make someone smile or feel better before they leave I will. I hope this comes across better then the article. From Joanne See more

23.01.2022 Today’s an appreciation post to @kevin norrie plumbing , my dad Ges and Ian Boer Refrigeration & Catering Equipment in Warragul. Yesterday one of our fryers decided to retire by Going up in flames. So dad took off to go pick up the new fryer and Within 6 hours we had a new fryer and Kevin came after hours to install it for us so we could start the day full steam ahead today. Thanks Kevin, your help was very much appreciated

21.01.2022 We'd like to say a massive thank you to our customers and our staff. Today was our biggest day and night so far and we'd love to thank you for your patience. We try our hardest to get the orders out on time and not get behind and no one complains and everyone is willing to wait. Through this pandemic Concettas has continued to grow and it's because of the support of everyone and our hard working staff. Thank you

21.01.2022 Usually we close on a public holiday but we will be OPEN this Friday Grand Final Eve from 9am - 7.30 pm.

20.01.2022 We’ve just made a few changes to help make things run smoothly. * Takeaway only, so we will be removing the tables and chairs to make more space for social distancing. * No more reusable cups for the moment to reduce the contact between staff and the customer. ... * In regards to dinner orders if possible we would prefer phone orders and no walk ins that way timing can be controlled better. When we take your order we will ask for a name and phone number. We will give a rough time for you to come down. When you arrive at the shop please wait for a text to say your order is ready before you come in so we don’t have a shop full of people standing in a small space. * During the day we have lots of ready to go food so customers are in and out quickly so phone orders will be like normal. * We would prefer customers to pay for their transactions by card so our staff don’t have to handle money which carries a lot of germs. * Lastly we will try to keep Joanne out the back so she won’t keep you in the shop too long by talking too much. Thanks to our customers for supporting us and helping us to get through these times.

18.01.2022 Wow, what a day. It’s business as usual at Concettas. After a few quieter days we were back into full swing today and tonight. Lots of takeaway options ready to go during the day that were disappearing as quickly as they were being cooked. Everything is made fresh and by us. ... If you don’t want to wait for something to be cooked you’re more then welcome to phone an order through on 0356 296 248 so you can just come in pick up. We’re doing everything to make sure we are constantly sanitising commonly touched areas such as door handles and counters throughout the day. We also have hand sanitiser on the counter for our customers to use. Thanks to all our customers for supporting us. See more

17.01.2022 Corona Virus update. From June 1st cafes are now allowed 10 people inside if the space allows it. The rules are still 1 person per 4m2 space depending on the size of the shop depends on how many customers per shop. So at Concetta’s we can still only have 4 people at a time and therefore are not putting our table and chairs back in for now. ... It limits us too much with the takeaway and would slow things down. Also there would be too many extra surfaces and items that could be contaminated and needs to be sanitised. We’ve noticed people are already being complacent and disregarding our 4 customers at a time rule. We have a sign at the door with the rules. So for the safety of our staff and customers if there’s 4 people in the shop please be patient and wait. We can not afford the $20000 fine and just trying to follow the rules and do the best job we can. For the time being we’re keeping the current hours. Thankyou for your continued support. See more

17.01.2022 NEW TRADING HOURS until further notice. At Concettas we have decided to cut our hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during this time. We will only be open 5.30am - 2pm on these days. Thursday’s and Friday’s we will be open our normal hours which are 5.30am - 7.30pm. ... During this trying time we’re trying to do the right thing by our staff, customers and ourselves so we apologise for any inconveniences. 14.01.2022 Sorry, we will be closed tomorrow due to a power outage. Bunyip Bakery said they're open but I'm not sure about any of the other businesses in Bunyip if you're looking for food tomorrow.

08.01.2022 Sorry we haven't posted for a while. You guys have been keeping us busy. We're just touching base to say R U Ok? With the extended lockdown we've found talking to people this week it's been hard are they are finding it tough so we've make up a little sweet pack because did you know STRESSED spelt backwards is DESSERTS. If you know anyone who needs a little pick me up come in and buy one to surprise them.... We've also added chick and salad wraps but still have our ham and salad rolls . Also due to popular demand Connie is back making her cheesecake. This week is salted caramel. See more

I know we've said it before but with the support we receive from everyone our business continues to keep growing which is incredible considering we're in a pandemic.
