24.01.2022 With school holidays coming to an end we are looking forward to seeing all the children when we re-open on Monday 20th July. We will be continuing on with the drop off and pickup routine that we did during term 2. Please also remember that if you have visited Victoria or have had people from Victoria visit you during the holidays your child MUST wait till week 3 before they can start. Also if you have visited any of the places on the dates advised in the screen shots below please ensure that your child waits till week 3 to start and that they have had a COVID test. Thank you for tour understanding with this, let’s keep our children, staff and all their families safe.

22.01.2022 Take advantage of this amazing sunny day and let’s experiment with light and shadow. Place a toy on a sheet of paper and use a texture or pencil to trace the outline of the shadows on the page. Return back to your shadow drawing in an hours time and have a look to see if the shape of the shadow has changed? Is the shadow larger, smaller, or the same size as your drawing?

21.01.2022 The Wallaby and Koala children are sending out virtual hugs to all their friends that can’t be at pre-school these next few weeks . We hope you are keeping safe at home, sharing the love

20.01.2022 Our 2 day children have spent the morning connecting with the Land for #NationalReconciliationWeek . They have loved being and to explore the texture of the paints through sensory play whilst acknowledging the original land owners of where we learn and play. The children have added their memories on the land and continue to remember the Wangal people that were here before us #InThisTogether2020 #NRW2020

19.01.2022 This week at Concord Kindergarten, the children have enjoyed creating Ephemeral Art simply with the use of Loose Parts. This term is usually used to describe a work of art that only occurs once. It’s ever changing and never the same. Encourage your children search for loose parts around the house and out in nature to create art that they can gradually add to and change. E.g. stones, sticks, buttons, corks, leaves, string and collage material. We would love to see the Ephemeral Art creations your children put together at home!

18.01.2022 This is a great article that explains how tough services are doing it under the Governments free preschool model....

17.01.2022 This week the Echidna and Wombat children have discovered insects in our garden. The children have drawn pictures and create artworks on the insects they have observed. What insects can you find in your garden?

09.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that if your child is unwell at all, please keep them home.... here are some other ways we can help stop the spread of the virus.
