23.01.2022 THE MERMAID MULTIHOUSE | A multi- generational, functional living space situated in Mermaid Beach, Queensland. The award-winning converted and repurposed home sees two separate and self-sustained dwellings. Featuring six differing rooms all connected to the garden elements, a visual relationship is maintained internally and as one passes through the connected areas.... 06.01.2022 CBAUS Thought for the Week!! It's the Simplest (smallest) Things that Matter the Most What you do with an empty toilet paper roll surprisingly says a lot about you.... There are people who will never be willing to go out of their way to fix a problem, to help, or to lend a hand- even when they've contributed to that problem. They just wait for the next person to come along and take care of things. Then, there are people who see a problem and they step in, even if they didn't have a part in causing it. They don't wait for someone else to come along and fix it, they are the person that does. The simple act of putting a new roll on the holder is more symbolic than you might think. Do you put a new roll-on, or do you wait for the next person to after you've used the last of it? It's how we handle the smallest things in life, that usually reflect on how we handle the biggest.
