20.01.2022 Last week I was deeply honoured to present the Itiovie Jegede Memorial Award for Dramatic Performance at the Concordia Lutheran College (Official) awards evenin...g. I was able to share how Ovie was tragically killed in a car accident a few weeks after our graduation in 1995. She was an extraordinary young woman with an extraordinary talent. Mel and I shared a life-changing friendship with her and it was heart-warming to see her legacy live on #oneheart

20.01.2022 Many of you may have been taught by past staff members Mal and Esme Beck. They both taught at Concordia for many years and their daughters Sharon, Annette and Carolyn are all Old Scholars. Peace Lutheran College is creating a memorial garden in their memory after their tragic passing on Christmas Eve. Please access the link below if you would like to donate.

17.01.2022 Ben Norley and Hannah Strachan who were part of the graduating class of 2014. They met and fell in love while at Concordia, and married on 18 April 2020 in true COVID-19 style (bride + groom + 3) in the backyard of Hannah’s family home in Highfields. Ben completed his school education at Concordia, beginning in Pre-School at HSC, and Hannah arrived at the College for Years 11 and 12. Hannah works as an early childcare educator in Toowoomba and Ben is an Exercise Physiologist, currently launching his business in Gatton. Ben and Hannah are planning an encore wedding in April next year, with all of their extended family and friends. 14.01.2022 Congratulations to Matthew Cramb (Class of 2017 graduate) and his grandmother Lyn for winning the "golden brick" in last night's episode of LEGO Masters Australia! The judge said the team's large orange dragon was, probably the most technically advanced build out of our entire mega city that was built in last night's round. We can't wait to see what else these LEGO Masters come up with!

13.01.2022 It was wonderful to have old Scholars Mark Singh-Hueter (1974-1978) and David Hueter (1975-1979) visit us this past week! We enjoyed showing them around the campus and hearing their reflections on how things have changed. Thanks for visiting us, Mark & David!

13.01.2022 Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, only registered guests of the graduating class of 2020 are able to attend the Valedictory Arrivals at Stephen Street Campus on Thursday 15 October. As this is such an important event for our College community, we have arranged to live stream the Valedictory Arrivals through our Concordia Lutheran College (Official) Facebook page from 5.15pm. If you visit that page and click on the "Interested" button for the live event, you will receive a notification when we go live. We regret any disappointment for members of our Old Scholars community who would like to attend this event but are unable to do so this year. Please be assured that the live stream will give you a front row seat to this very special event!
