25.01.2022 Each year, our Junior College campuses participate in Christmas for the Bush with families bringing items to donate to families doing it tough in the bush. This year the College amassed over 100 large boxes of items from Hume and Warwick Street Campuses. Bill and Melissa Close were once again overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. Thank you!

25.01.2022 We are continuing our countdown of the final week for our Year 12 students with another clip from their Final Assembly. In this clip, Bridie Middleton and Alanah Coverdale share their advice to the Year 8 students heading into Year 9 next year.

25.01.2022 Hume Street Campus Captain, Caitlin Wiggins, has come up with a great initiative for our community... "Our region has many diverse groups of different social and economic backgrounds and they can find it difficult to integrate and progress within our community. Sport has always been a wonderful way for people to become involved, meet new people and make lifetime friendships however equipment can be costly and out of reach for many." We are looking for donations of sporting gear or equipment that you do not use anymore (football boots, sporting balls, cricket gear, running shoes etc). New equipment or voucher donations would also be welcomed. If you can help out, please refer to the image below for drop off points.

24.01.2022 Many of our Concordia staff have joined STEPtember, raising money for Cerebral Palsy. Today, the students of HSC joined our staff in walking a combined 143,990 steps and raised $140. Thank you all for your support.

These young people are so stoic and accepting of the situation. Luckily most (but not all) have close family - including many Concordians - that they have been staying with in Brisbane during all their holidays this year. We wish them all well in what remains of this particularly challenging year so far from home, and hope that those parental hugs are not too far away!

We can already tell by their spirit and enthusiasm that the students are loving the experience.
