01.01.2022 Our club held our International Speech & Evaluation Speech Contests last night, at our brand new venue. A huge thanks to Reg Stewart our Contest Chair, Sachin (Area 6 Director) as our Chief Judge and Heywan Natano for being our target speaker for the Eval Contest. Plus all our members for taking on the many roles needed - Timers, Judges, Ballot counters etc. We had 1 guest Jaide - thanks for coming And the Winners Were: ... International Speech Contest 1st Place: Steve Tunstead 2nd Place: Irina Castellano 3rd Place: Simon Sykes Evaluation Speech Contest 1st Place: Irina Castellano 2nd Place: Clare Williamson 3rd Place: Lorna Parker The winners move on to the Area Contests which are in February. Our next club meeting is Monday 2nd November - please come and join us.
