07.01.2022 We where asked if we could build a 3m Long Island bench top with waterfall ends in one single piece, off site and to transfer it insitu, we were excited to say the least... After our first attempt at making it 20mm thick, it snapped in half, though it did not discourage as we learnt a lot from this first time and realised it was still very possible. This week we’ve installed our very first feature wall, and after what has been a pretty crazy 2020 to finish it off with the realization of a dream I had 3 years ago has made this year somewhat complete. Manufacturing in Australia is on the rise and GFRC (glass fibre reinforced concrete) is still young. The potential is limitless with what you can make and crea...te. So no more looking at what is normal and start thinking outside the box. Concrete can be made in any shape, colour, design, feature. The sky is the limit... The product we use is called ‘Heraclex’. It’s a new ultra high performance concrete, born out of an Italian University, and is going to start taking over Australia and New Zealand in 2021. So don’t wait and get in touch....
