18.01.2022 Members, Guests and Friends of Condobolin RSL Club. As you would all be aware, we have made tremendous strides with our Club over the past 18 months. Our presentation is something we can all be proud of and member services and amenities continue to improve. The one area that we are not reaching our goals is with our Bistro. As you would know we moved from external caterers to an inhouse Chef Christmas last year. Since his resignation early October we tried to hire a new chef ...or cook and have tried to re-engage past employees all without success. We continue to search for a long-term solution. In the interim Teagan has stepped up from an occasional assistant to the full time and only cook that we have. Teagan is not a chef and has bought only limited experience as a solo operator, but I can assure you all she is doing the very best that she can. At times we may be a bit slow and there may even be occasions where a diner is not satisfied. If this occurs, please let us know and we will endeavour to rectify any problems. In writing this I am not being critical of Teagan but the very opposite. She has taken on a difficult and often thankless task but without her we would have no food service at this time. I accept there are problems, but public criticism does not address them. We are a Club, and all are owners of this business. Be patient and stay loyal to your Club and this will be resolved. We understand it’s hard but you MUST be SEATED unless you are ordering food and/or beverage, placing a bet on Keno and/or TAB or using the facilities. You MUST be seated whilst playing the gaming machines this also means ONE person per machine. Our gaming floor is designed for single player use per machine with eve...ry second gaming machine turned off for your own safety. Patrons who fail to follow the directions from our staff will be requested to leave and if required Police will be called to assist with a Fail To Quit direction. This may include a $550 on the spot infringement penalty. Remember our staff are only doing their job, so do yours by following the applicable Covid 19 Health Orders.
