23.01.2022 Did you know there are now 2 Apps where you can make GP (doctor) appointments. One is called "Health Engine" and the other is "HotDoc." Check out if your local GP uses either app to make an appointment. You can find these Apps in App Store or Google Playstore.... Let us know what you think.



20.01.2022 Hi there all Urgent alert for those who love museum exhibitions and the history of Rome. An accessible exhibition at the National Museum of Australia (Canberra), "Rome: City and Empire" closes on Sunday 3rd February.... If you haven't seen it, it's your only chance - brilliant exhibition. Also in Canberra at the National Gallery of Australia, "Love and Desire - Pre-Raphaelites from the Tate" which closes in late April 2019 Another must see exhibition that is accessible in Auslan and captions. https://nga.gov.au/lovedesire/ Please share around.

15.01.2022 Deafblind International Conference 2019 on the Gold Coast - call for papers

15.01.2022 Conexu has had a busy week last week. Apart from enjoying the Queensland sunshine visiting the Curumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Seaworld on the Gold Coast to talk about accessibility for Deaf and hard of hearing people to their popular attractions and audio tours, we have been working closely with the National Museum of Australia on their Rome: City and Empire exhibition coming up in Canberra next month. We finished our week with a great Techfinder workshop on the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) with over 20 participants all keen to learn more about accessible technology. Very soon, our OpenAccess Face to Face app which already has over 1500 Auslan signs will have new Auslan signs in Technology, AFL sport and more everyday words. 12.01.2022 Unfinished Business by Belinda Mason continues to be a popular exhibition shown across Australia and overseas. It is now on exhibition in Canberra - worth seeing to show life experiences of Australian aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people with disabilities. Conexu worked with Belinda to enable the exhibition to be accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people. 08.01.2022 Conexu is thrilled that another museum has made an exciting exhibition accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people. Tasmania Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) open their Dinosaur rEvolution exhibition today in Hobart which continues until May 2019. Using our free OpenAccess Tours app, the exhibition is accessible in Auslan, scrolling text and mandarin.... Phil Harper was fortunate to be invited to the launch yesterday and has shared some of what you can see including dinosaurs with feathers! 08.01.2022 Conexu and the National Gallery of Australia is pleased to let you know their current exhibition "Love & Desire: Pre-Raphaelite Masterpieces from the Tate" is accessible in Auslan and scrolling text (and audio).
