23.01.2022 Thursday saw Sissy’s team win over Helen’s in the fours finals congratulations girls you all played well. Good to see Cheryl and Bob giving lessons looking forward to all of them starting to play games with us. We are so pleased that Lynne Leggett has accepted the position of president thank you. Consistency starts Thursday 5th Sissy v Di. Helen v Grace have a great game girls. List is out for Presentation day / Christmas lunch put your name down as it always is a great day you will enjoy. Happy bowling

22.01.2022 Tuesday 20th was the start of the fours Sissy-Bev-Barb-Kath had a narrow win by one point over Grace-Val-Lynne-Irene great game. Thanks Toni for umpiring and Steph as governing body. Thursday saw Helen-Jeanette-Steph-Di have a win over Graces team very enjoyable game thanks girls. Carole was umpire and Steph governing body thank you. The new girls came for lessons and will be playing with us next week. It was so wonderful to see Sue Priest on the green again after a long break welcome back. Our condolences to Cheryl for the loss of her dad Ron who was an original old and great bowler of our Club. Don’t forget pennants and consistency sheets are out.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Sissy/Carole for winning the major/minors on Tuesday defeating Valmae/Kath a great game all played well and it was a pleasure to watch. It is great to see Sissy and Valmae still playing with us as they were at the ladies club when we first started and still in the finals that’s wonderful, great to see Carole now a major congrats and Kath a new player in the finals how great is that. I took a photo of our first bowlers Valmae Sissy and Grace.Thank you Peter for being umpire. A good roll up for social bowl’s on Thursday it was so good seeing Val back on the green. Tuesday 6/10 triples start it is now a round robin see draw below. The fours close on 6/10 and play on 20/10 also a around robin. Every one have a good holiday weekend stay safe see you all on the green and good bowling.

20.01.2022 Tuesday saw Carole Barb and Lynne win over Jeanette Helen and Steph weather was a lot cooler but the girls all played well. Thanks Col for being umpire. On Thursday Carole Barb and Lynne defeated Valmae Di and Roslyn so on Tuesday 13th Jeanette’s team plays Valmae’s good luck girls enjoy. Thanks Cheryl for umpiring on Thursday and giving lessons to the ladies who we hope will join our great club and start playing with us on Tuesday and Thursday also giving measuring refreshin...g lessons to some of our girls. Glad to see Kay feeling a bit better hope to see her soon on the green. Consistancy draw is out. Our calanders of the fires are now $5 they will be wonderful to have and look back what 2020 meant to us also tickets are on sale for Conjola Family Bushfire Fundraising day for all the prizes people have donated they are great have to be in it to win it as the saying goes. 17.01.2022 Beautiful day Tuesday for the finish of our triples Carole’s team took it out with Valmae’s team runners up. Thanks to Carole for umpiring and Lynne for being governing body. Cheryl and Bev gave lessons to our knew bowlers they all seem very keen. Thursday 15th is social bowl’s Tuesday 20th is the starting of the fours good luck everyone. The consistency and pennants sheets are out so have a think about it and have go.

14.01.2022 Tuesday was the finals of the consistency between Sissy and Kath great game with Sissy winning and her being the oldest bowler and winning most events except consistency she was very happy it was very nice that Kath showed Sissy so much respect. Thank you Ean McKinnon for umpiring Lynne for marking Stef for being controlling body. Good roll up for social bowl’s. Christmas/presentation day on 10th social bowl’s will be played till then but not on our special day. Bowl’s back in February. All have a good break with families and friends and of course happy bowling.

14.01.2022 No bowls last week with Melbourne cup and rain. Consistency on Thursday saw Sissy defeat Di on Thursday Kath won over Barb and Helen over Grace as Grace was not well and had to forfeit then Sissy played against Helen and won so the finals on Tuesday is between Sissy and Kath good luck girls it is so good seeing our older players and newer players playing in the finals. Thanks to umpires governing body and markers. Thursday saw more social bowlers which was great to see, don’t forget putting your name down for Christmas lunch. Happy bowling enjoy your game

10.01.2022 Hi to all I am Di O’Brien and been asked to keep up to date with our face book page which I am honoured to do. Today we played social bowl’s had great weather and wonderful company what more can we ask. Next Tuesday 22/9 is our first game of major/minor pairs good luck to all players hope to see you all on the green for a great game of bowls

10.01.2022 Thank you to the ladies from Thirroul Bowling club who made a special trip Friday on behalf of Thirroul Bowling Club to deliver Hope Bags to the Community Centre and a cheque to the main club from all the members of Thirroul Men’s and Women’s Bowling Club.

07.01.2022 On Tuesday first round of major/minor pairs were played Valmae/Kath - defeated Donna/Di Carole/Sissy defeated Janette/Barbara. Today Thursday semis saw Valmae/Kath defeat Helen/Steph all games were played in great spirits and great to watch. Tuesday 29th finals will be played between Valmae/Kath - Carole/Sissy all the best girls enjoy your game hope the weather will be kind. Come along and play social bowl’s and give support to the girls. After bowl’s there will be a meeting if raining meeting will be 9.30. We can bring our lunch now and have a social chat with our bowling mates. We all send our best wishes and a speedy recovery to Kay and Paul after their little mishap. Closing date club 4’s 6/10 and consistency singles 2/10. Happy bowling.
