25.01.2022 Despite all that 2020 has been, I would dearly like to wish you all a beautiful Christmas and New Year. It has been a year where we welcomed Gina Mace to the team, working part-time from St George and Jemma Jones as our Business Administration Trainee in Roma. With additional team support from Sarah Brookes, Brook Pobar and Lisa Yorkston at various times during the year. I thank you all for pitching in and adding your own passion and effort to ConnectAg. We made it throug...h our third year - without a doubt a year like no other. Thanks also to Rachel Nixon Bookkeeping for all your sage advice and support as we entered a new phase of business. I am also grateful for support from husband Shane Morgan and of course Will and Breeanna and the 'adopted family members' Ange, Lynda and Larissa. But most of all, thanks to all the primary producers, community groups, businesses and government teams who we worked with to progress a very, very broad range of issues and needs across an extensive area during challenging times. 09.01.2022 In response to overwhelming interest in nutritional training in the Darling Downs/Maranoa regions, a Nutrition EDGE workshop will be held in Surat, 1-3 December..., 2020. The feed may be green but nothing is more sure than a dry season (it is right up there with death and taxes). This is a good time to gain a good understanding of nutritional principles, feed labels and strategic supplementation so you can plan out your program. She has been a quick study and though a very challenging year for anyone completing year 12, she has been awarded Golden West Trainee of the Year.
