We did say we were going to donate $1250 to the RFS but after checking out Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade split system for their shed, it just wasnt kicking it like it used to in 1999. The old girl was ready for retirement. ... We just knew we had to up the amount and thats what we did. We donated $3000 to purchase a new gorgeous Daikin 9.5kw unit and our local champs have extra funds to spend on what they need. This just isnt for from us, its from our community and surrounds. 12.01.2022 After seeing the devastation across NSW and the real risk of more to follow this summer, we wanted to give back to those that are fighting the fires (and will continue for months) and realise those heroes are away from their family, days and weeks at a time. If we, as a small business, can give just a little to those that keep us safe, were all for it! If our local RFS and NSW Rural Fire Service can buy more equipment that will help fight these horrible conditions and let th...eir weary/exhausted bodies rest, were in! These guys and gals from Winmalee RFS are all volunteers. This just isnt about this year but all the years that theyve put our community first. We may not of experienced the worst of the fires this season in the Blue Mountains or Western Sydney as our friends have in the North Coast but they have been working day and night on the monster Gosper Mountain Fire, Woodford and most recently the Red ridge fire trail and Ruined Castle. They have protected properties, have given the most informative information for us to be alert and most importantly, they take time off work, spending time with their family and not to mention putting themselves in danger. We also wanted to give back to those in the NSW RFS who are fighting these horrible conditions all over NSW. Credit to you beautiful people in yellow! Were a small family business but we wanted to help out as much as we can. So for the whole month of December, we will be donating to the Winmalee Rural Fire Brigade and NSW Rural Fire Service. For every split system installed in the month of December, we will be donating $50 For every ducted system installed the month of December, we will be donating $100 Total amounts will be distributed evenly between both organisations. Thank you to our amazing customers, were booking out fast and already have many installs scheduled for December which will be included in the donations that we will provide. Air flow is one of the most important factors when installing a unit, for both indoor and outdoor.... If you have an outdoor unit facing a fence or to close to a wall (1.5m or less) an air defection kit will improve performance during the harsh temperatures during winter and summer. Instead of pushing air outwards, the deflection kit will push air upwards which improves air flow and performance of the unit.

05.01.2022 The heat is on over the next few days Don’t forget to start your systems early at 22-24 degrees. This does depend on your living situation and where the air conditioner is situated, you may feel the cool more or the heat.... If it’s a small area, aim for the the higher end of temperature (23-24 degrees) and if it’s a larger space, set at the lower end of temperature (22-23 degrees) This will reduce energy and will assist that your system isn’t working over drive. Bring down those blinds, curtains and shutters to ensure that the cool air stays in and not out.
