02.01.2022 WARNING FROM SURF LIFE SAVING WA BLUE RING OCTOPUS SIGHTINGS YANCHEP There have been five separate sightings of Blue Ring Octopuses on the reef at Yanchep B...each in the last 2 days and temporary signage has been erected to warn beach users. Their bite is highly venomous. Make sure you watch where you are walking near the water and do not attempt to touch them - dead or alive! If you suspect a bite, seek medical help straight away. 02.01.2022 HAPPY 2019! Hi Everyone!! Now is the time to announce and prepare for an extremely long post! Firstly to thank everyone and every business that supported ...our Save the Space project in 2018. We were lucky enough to meet some incredible artists willing to share their work with us, see some astounding support from Five Senses Coffee Harvey Fresh and Alkimos Medical Centre! Without you we would never have made it off the ground and kicked off our first community initiative Over 55s Art Exhibition. As the year went on we manage to connect some beautiful locals in some targeted hub groups, achieve some inter-generational learning through craft and have some magnificent volunteers help us through the good and injured times!! Northshore Christian Grammar School & District32 your support and fundraising throughout the year will be forever appreciated. Overall an outstanding community!! We need to keep pushing to engage and include each other as life continues and the developers fall away. So back to this.. We are here to announce we have found a lovely family to take on the cafe space in 2019 Alkimos Coffee House !! Please follow and support them. See when the space will re-open Under New Management As for Connect Australia and our Alkimos Connect Hub, we will be here online doing our community thing. Partnering with City of Wanneroo to start our first workshop! Then keep an eye on where we are situated what we are up to with some of the amazing existing spaces around here and Perth!
