20.01.2022 We are loving watching some of the cool garden designs being inspired by our Foodcube system - this one texted today from a clever landscaper Paul Oakley from T...he Sustainable Landscape Company at Live At The Cape on the coast at Cape Paterson with our advanced wicking beds wrapped in second hand timber and using three old tinnies as the backboards for a bit of wind protection See more

19.01.2022 Biofilta had a great launch event for our new recycled plastic Foodcube system at our manufacturing plant in Carrum Downs. In appreciation of all the hard work ...our partner Von Pace Group have put in, we built a 21m2 garden in an unused car parking area so staff can access around 600kg fresh herbs and veggies per year and in the process improve connection with the product, form better social bonds through food, increase nutrition for themselves and their families and utilise some of the excess factory roof water volume to grow food. It only took 1.5 hours of machine time to make the tubs and 4 hours for the team to construct a fully sealed, self watering garden which will last for years. This system is also being sent to Tuvalu to assist with food growing in challenging environmental conditions and is being used to build sustainable, easy to maintain and water efficient gardens for schools, community groups and serious home gardeners around Australia. It took 3 years in the making and private funding of over $5M to bring to market a world leading, modular food growing system that can grow 30kg per m2 using a soil based approach for under $400 AU. Let us know if you have a project to rapidly and reliably grow food while reducing our landfill plastic. #sustainablecities #urbanag #wickingbeds #wsud #communityfood #vegetables #veggiegarden #foodgarden

18.01.2022 At this years HIA Home Show, you will see lots of our new Foodcube units being used to decorate the Show with vegetables in the theme of home sustainability. W...e have partnered with Formboss to create decorative corten panels to give the Foodcube that rustic look. Come check them out at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, South Wharf starting tomorrow. CEO Marc Noyce will also be on stage at 6pm Friday to talk about the benefits of self watering, wicking gardens and the unique features of the Foodcube to help make gardening easier than ever!

02.01.2022 Very excited to be jumping on board with Biofilta These wicking beds, or self watering beds, are made of recycled plastic, in Melbourne. Will link up with each... other easily, needing just one water inlet. Can attach directly to a tank, creating extra water storage. No need to add scoria or shade cloth as you would if building your own, just add soil and water. See more

02.01.2022 new addition to the team. Under 1m wide, articulated so wont rip up your ground or garden
