14.01.2022 Broken leg rope!!!!! What I loved about Friday was arriving at the carpark, and feeling everyone’s adrenaline pumping, the camaraderie. I loved the waves, and I loved seeing the enlightened, exhausted expressions on the surfers as they paddled in, and then put their feet back on the sand after being in the deep.. I also loved watching the kids playing in the sand waiting for their parents (because I used to do that ). I loved the diversity of the ages of the surfers..... and I loved THE DOGS!!! The way the dogs would run up and sniff each surfer as they emerged, to see if it was THEIR wet suited owner emerging from the Great Ocean.. and at the end, I loved watching the two young women who met up again on the sand and excitedly discussed the highlights of an awesome day #bellsbeach50yearstorm #28Aug2020 #bellsbeach #surf
