24.01.2022 Hi there. I own and operate CONNECTED CSS, an NDIS Registered Organisation. We operate in the Logan region of SEQ. ... I am just going to share my experience here as I recently was called by a Support Coordinator who informed me and/or reminded me about charging the extra 10% to client plans for COVID-19 and I looked into it but have decided to not charge my clients plans as their plans are not being increased in line with the 10% extra BUT I am paying my Support Workers an extra 10% so that they feel supported during this time of increased hazard whereby to their credit they are remaining in their jobs and continuing supports for our very lovely portfolio of clients. This way both my clients and my support workers are happy and that makes me happy. I too am out there working as a Support Worker myself so it's all in. During this time and at every other time, our perspective will help us all through. Be kind to one another.

22.01.2022 Our team's community value set is strong and thriving at CONNECTED CSS and this is why we have supported our Logan Region Youth with access to the World Leading Psychologist developed program for 8 -12 years olds who experience Spectrum Disorders and others with Behavioural Concerns to 'Crack the Code' of how to build and maintain Social Relationships. The Secret Agent Society (SAS) Computer Game Pack and Small Group Program help kids 8 to 12 years of age crack the code of e...motions and friendships. Junior Detectives graduate from SAS equipped with the skills to feel happier, calmer and braver while making new friends and keeping them. https://www.sst-institute.net/sas-computer-game-trailer Our purchase was funded by our Good Works in the Community which resulted in Kingston State School receiving both the Computer Game and Board Games version of SAS with thanks given to Joanne BIRD (Kingston State School Guidance Counsellor) who rangled the internal apsects of this giving back to community initiative which we have thoroughly enjoyed doing.

15.01.2022 Patience. According to Google... The definition of Patience is: "The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset."... Like the clouds in the Sky passing by, all that we experience, passes by to. So try to remember a beautiful cloud in the sky passing by, before your eyes, on the very next time something tests your patience. Let us know how you go by commenting below. Build your capacity for Patience one cloud at a time. God bless x

14.01.2022 With our lovely clients consent obtained: Here are some pictures from our client's edible garden which our client and Support Workers have assisted to bring to life from seeds to this... There are Taro, Tomato, Strawberry, Paw Paw, Lemon Grass, Chilli Trees, Mustard trees, Beans and Coriander to name a few. ... Corn and Snow Peas were there but have now passed their season. It was such an amazing journey from seeds to pulling around 500 grams of Snow peas off the vines every 2-3 days. There is so much more to come out of this garden and into the kitchen for our clients.
