24.01.2022 Grandma once gave me a tip: During difficult times, you move forward in small steps. Do what you have to do, but little by bit. Don't think about the future, no...t even what might happen tomorrow. Wash the dishes. Take off the dust. Write a letter. Make some soup. Do you see? You are moving forward step by step. Take a step and stop. Get some rest. Compliment yourself. Take another step. Then another one. You won't notice, but your steps will grow bigger and bigger. And time will come when you can think about the future without crying. Good morning (Elena Mikhalkova, "The Room of Ancient Keys") Posted by Maria Ratti Read more like this at ladiespassiton.com

18.01.2022 Message from White Eagle, Hopi indigenous on 03/16/2020: VISION QUEST This moment humanity is going through can now be seen as a portal and as a hole.... The decision to fall into the hole or go through the portal is up to you. If you repent of the problem and consume the news 24 hours a day, with little energy, nervous all the time, with pessimism, you will fall into the hole. But if you take this opportunity to look at yourself, rethink life and death, take care of yourself and others, you will cross the portal. Take care of your homes, take care of your body. Connect with your spiritual House. When you are taking care of yourselves, you are taking care of everything else. Do not lose the spiritual dimension of this crisis, have the eagle aspect, that from above, and see the whole; see more broadly. There is a social demand in this crisis, but there is also a spiritual demand. The two go hand in hand. Without the social dimension, we fall into fanaticism. But without the spiritual dimension, we fall into pessimism and lack of meaning. You were prepared to go through this crisis. Take your toolbox and use all the tools available to you. Learn about resistance of the indigenous and African peoples: we have always been and continue to be exterminated. But we still haven't stopped singing, dancing, lighting a fire and having fun. Don't feel guilty about being happy during this difficult time. You do not help at all being sad and without energy. You help if good things emanate from the Universe now. It is through joy that one resists. Also, when the storm passes, each of you will be very important in the reconstruction of this new world. You need to be well and strong. And, for that, there is no other way than to maintain a beautiful, happy and bright vibration. This has nothing to do with alienation. This is a resistance strategy. In shamanism, there is a rite of passage called the quest for vision. You spend a few days alone in the forest, without water, without food, without protection. When you cross this portal, you get a new vision of the world, because you have faced your fears, your difficulties ... This is what is asked of you: Allow yourself to take advantage of this time to perform your vision seeking rituals. What world do you want to build for you? For now, this is what you can do: serenity in the storm. Calm down, pray every day. Establish a routine to meet the sacred every day. Good things emanate; what you emanate now is the most important thing. And sing, dance, resist through art, joy, faith and love. " Resist - Be reborn

17.01.2022 When you look at a tree in a storm, you see that the top of the tree is very unstable and vulnerable. The wind can break the smaller branches at any time. But ...when you look down at the trunk of the tree, you have a different impression. You see that the tree is very solid and still, and you know that it will be able to withstand the storm. We are also like a tree. Our head is like the top of the tree during a tempest of a strong emotion, so we have to bring our attention down to the level of our navel. We begin to practice mindful breathing. We concentrate just on our breathing and on the rise and fall of our abdomen. It is a very important practice because it helps us to see that, although an emotion may be very strong, it will stay only for a while and then go; it cannot last forever. If you train yourself to practice like this during difficult times, you will survive these storms. You have to be aware that your emotion is just an emotion. It comes, stays for some time, and then goes away. Why should someone die because of an emotion? You are more than your emotions. It is important to remember this. During a crisis, when you breathe in and out, maintain the awareness that your emotion will go away if you continue to practice. After you have succeeded a few times, you will have confidence in yourself and in the practice. Let us not get caught by our thoughts and feelings. Let us bring our attention down to our belly and breathe in and out. This storm will go away, so don’t be afraid. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh, Anger Photo by: lauren {elycerose} Title: Stand lis
16.01.2022 How Meditation Changes the World The following story, called The Rainmaker, was told to the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung by Richard Wilhelm (1873-1930). The sto...ry of The Rainmaker describes perfectly how each of us needs to take responsibility for the state of our world. We are affected by the world and we also affect the world. There is a great inter-dependence of all things and all beings in this world. The Rainmaker story instructs us to put our inner world in order so that the outer world will change as a result. 07.01.2022 According to Egyptian mythology, every 500 years the Phoenix self-immolates, meaningit voluntarily lights itself on fire so that it may be reborn as a greater ...expression of itself. 95% of who we are is a set of unconscious thoughts, automatic programs, repetitive habits, emotional reactions, & memorized behaviors. These routine programs affect us mentally, spiritually, physically, chemically, biologically, & genetically, and they serve to keep us stuck in the past. When we’re entrenched in these life patterns, we might as well be a hamster on the proverbial wheel& the only way to step off the wheel is to become aware you’re on it. In other words, the only mode to produce change is to bring conscious (awareness) to what we were unconscious to, & we do this by observing our thoughts, perceptions, behaviors, emotions, & actions. To become a master of our thoughts & emotions, like the Phoenix we need to be able to sit in the discomfort of the fire. Sitting in the fire is both the process & the initiation, & for many it can be a very difficult & painful process. The body craves the past, & by using our will to overcome the safety and comfort of the past, the body goes through all sorts of transformations on a moment-to-moment basis. I can tell you from experience, there have been countless times during my meditations where I’ve felt like a pugilist backed into the corner of a ring, & my opponentthe insufferable voice in my head called the egodelivers body blow after body blow. Its strategy is to not to land the knock-out punch, but rather to weaken & disable. The metaphor of lighting the self on fire is sitting in the presence of that discomfort for a long enough period of timecontinuously observing ourselvesuntil the ego tires itself out. Every time you win that round by becoming conscious of those unconscious thoughts, programs, behaviors, & attitudes, you are raising your energybecause consciousness is awareness and awareness is paying attention. You can’t have consciousness without energy, so the moment you start raising your awareness, you start raising your energy, and consequently moving closer to the unified field. See more
